I DO NOT OWN TWLIGHT!

"Momma?" I heard Nessie ask. She was always looking for Bella as was I we had been playing hide-and-go-seek for over an hour now and we still couldn't find my darling wife. It didn't help that I couldn't hear her thoughts which would have given her away easily.

"Alright Bella you win we give up!" I said louder than I probably needed to but I had absolutely no idea where she was. Just then I heard a quiet tinkle of bells that was now my wife's laugh so at least I knew she was around here somewhere.

"Momma will you please come out you're scaring me!" Nessie shouted I knew that would get Bella to come out because she knew as well as I that Nessie still had nightmares about her mother disappearing, apparently those three days where she hadn't been able to see her mother or touch her had affected her look out on her life where her mother is applied.

Just then Bella appeared out of nowhere scooping Ness in her arms to hold her close. "Don't worry honey I will never leave you I promise." She whispered as I wrapped my arms around the two of them and let out a light chuckle.

"What Edward?" Bella asked clearly confused by how I could find my own daughters fear was so humorous. I merely shook my head, I didn't want to tell her that Nessie hadn't been afraid but was trying to win the game.

"Oh silly momma I hadn't been afraid I just knew you would come out if I said that, Uncle Emmett told me that I should because then I would win the game when I found him first!" Oh that's my Nessie she just couldn't let her mother be happily ignorant to how my brother was corrupting our 4 year old.

Bella shot Emmett a deadly look as he slipped out of the room with a mumble "Thanks Ness now I'll have to watch my back for the next 3 years." I laughed even harder at that but Bella didn't seem as humored by his exiting line as the rest of our family did because with that she looked down at our daughter and said in a stern voice "Nessie I think it's time you went upstairs and got ready for bed."

Nessie looked like she was going to argue because she looked up at me for support but I had to side with Bella on this one it was nearly 11 and Nessie had to be at Jakes house early tomorrow if Bella, Rosalie and I were going to make it to Seattle in time for the concert Charlie had given us tickets to. "No Nessie your mother is right it's time for bed," she still looked ready to argue and had even opened her mouth to but I cut her off quickly "Renesmee Carlie Cullen do as your mother says and get your little butt upstairs."

With a scowl as cute as Bella's she huffed and stomped upstairs. I smiled as I watched her. Bella looked at me and sighed I pulled her close and kissed her softly on her lips. "I know darling it's hard to see her act just like you." Bella looked shocked then resigned as she nodded and giggled. "If you don't mind my asking dear. Where were you hiding?"

She looked sheepish and looked down, by the look on her face I knew if she could have been blushing she would have been.

"I was in the underwear section of Alice's closet." She laughed.

"I should have known you would hide in the one spot that I would never want to go but at least it was Alice's and not Rosalie's otherwise I would have to have Emmett get you because I'd be too afraid of being scared for life to actually go in there." I shook with laughter as she slapped my arm like she use to do when she was human.

"Momma? Daddy? Aren't you coming to tuck me in?" Nessie called from her room Bella ran up as soon as Renesmee had said her name. But I hung back and walked at a human pace thinking about how perfect the evening had been and knew that this was just one of many perfect nights to come with my perfect little family.
