My Turtledove
"Who did you have a romantic affair with?" Teasing slate blue eyes gazed at Ange as Princess's long eyelashes batted. They sat together on the beach chairs, their hands entwining with each other's as the sea breeze caressed their hair.
A rosy blush covered Ange's cheeks as the tips of her ears grew red. Her ears wanted to taste more of her princess's alluring sweet voice.
"W—Well…" Ange lowered her voice, looking away with embarrassment as she stood up. Her eyes stared out to the sea, meeting back the princess's gaze more boldly.
A smile cracked on Ange's lips. "You, my princess." Her soft nonchalant voice rolled off her tongue in perfect syllables.
Princess's slate blue eyes widened with sudden realization as her cheeks flushed.
"Ange…" She spoke her name softly, making the spy shiver hearing her beautiful voice. The princess's heart pounded as her slender hand reached out to squeeze Ange's hand.
A smile spread wider across Ange's face as she rested her hand on top of the princess's. "I love you, Princess. There is no one else but you."
The princess leaned forward toward Ange, a strand of blond hair escaped behind her ear.
Ange brushed Princess's hair back, cupping her chin toward her lips. She kissed her princess softly, tasting her sweet lips.
Princess pressed her lips back against Ange's. She broke the kiss, looking up at Ange with a smile.
"I love you too, my turtledove."
