Behind Window Panes
by: Little Beth
I've watched you slowly, behind my window pane
Playing about the meadow, silver bright wings gleaming
The summer sun beat down upon your skin
Leaving you sun-kissed beautiful
So I've watched you slowly, behind my window pane
I watched you slowly, creeping towards my window pane
Peeping in with such wide innocent eyes
You look like home to me
But you are outside and I... alas... I inside
So I watched you slowly, creeping towards my window pane
I wanted you slowly, from behind my window pane
Creeping towards, pressing my body close
So I wanted you slowly, from behind my window pane
I needed you slowly, from behind my window pane
Lopsided smiles, bronzed skin, blazing viridian eyes
You call to me, yet no response
So I needed you slowly, from behind my window pane
I craved you slowly, from behind my window pane.
Your beauty is aethereal, untouchable, pure
For I am sullied, unworthy of your love
So I craved you slowly, from behind my window pane.
I've watched you slowly, behing my window pane
Playing about the meadow, silver wings bright
I've watched you slowly, dear angel
I'm trapped here
So set me free from behind my window pane
LB's Notes: This was my first little stab at my version of the relationship between Harry and Draco. I think, from Draco's background, he'd be forced into things, trapped behind something simple, like a window glass. Because, to me anyway, window glass is easily broken. But one mustn't break the glass for fear of being punished. So basically, once you get down to it, Draco is asking, then begging, and finally pleading with Harry to set him free of his prison. I hope you enjoyed it and there's more in the future.
