Short Drabble story, Inspired by the song You Found Me By The Fray. Hope You Enjoy =D
You Found Me
I walked along the streets of god, going nowhere in particular, something in me told me to walk, let my feet take me where they will, you could say I was being lead by fate.
The streets of Amistad were quite at this time of night, the stars shone brightly against the dark backdrop, the moon shining bright above me as though my guardian angel. The street was dead, windows lay empty of light but filled with dreams and fantasies of children and adults alike, the street-lamps glowing light was not there to light my way, giving the street an eerie sense to it, haunted maybe.
I turned the corner and what met my eyes was horrific, a group of boys were stood in a circle, just outside Amistad corner cafe, kicking and punching at something, or worse, someone in the centre, the cries of pain deafening in contrast to the quite, yet no-one seemed to hear the man's ear splitting plea's, begging then to stop, screaming for help. I ran to his aid as one of the boys pulled something shiny out of his pocket, the moon illuminating it, making it noticeable.
The pack ran as fast as their legs could carry them when they heard my threats, I paid them no attention, all my focus on the body curled lifelessly on the pavement, I dashed forward and fell to my knee's at the man's side, shaking him slightly, and calling to him, telling him to wake up, when he didn't my heart raced franticly, my breath quickened giving chase to my heart, my eyes scrambled around the area, looking for something anything as I called out for someone to help me, but no help came. Glistening, silver tears fell from my eyes for this stranger I had never met before, but somewhere deep inside of me, I knew him; a voice call a name over and over again in my head, the name slid of my tongue with an air of familiarity. "Merlin".
My breath caught in my throat as his eyes fluttered open revealing, shining, sapphire blue orbs. Eyes locked in mine as I pulled him up, his lips brushed against my own and a thousand lightning bolts shot through my body, a wave of pleasure flushed through me, all from that simple movement. I crashed my lips down onto his in search of more of that feeling, a feeling I had been missing all my life, the feeling home.
My tongue searched his mouth, making us both moan in pleasure. After what seemed like hours I pulled away, the need for air too great. "I Love You, Merlin" I whispered breathlessly, and although I had never met Merlin before this night, I knew the words were true. His eyes bright, his lips lifted into a goofy grin that made my heart flutter as he pulled me down into another breath taking kiss.
"You Found Me" Merlin breathed as he pulled away.
All along he knew this day would come, and finally, when he was lost and insecure, he came.
"I Found You" was Arthur's response before he helped Merlin to his feet and embrace him in a hug.
