Hey everyone! This is my second fanfic, which is kind of dark, hope you enjoy.
Rating: Defiantly rated M…especially for later chapters, which I plan to
Write.
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, I'm just borrowing my most loved
Characters for a bit of fun.

It had truly been a miserable night. A miserable thunderstorm raged on outside, practically making Amber's dingy little apartment quiver in fear. The wind was the worst.
Not only did it's loud howling make it almost impossible for her to sleep, it made the lights flicker too. She never liked thunderstorms, not because they frightened her or anything, but because they were just too loud and way too much of a pain for her to be able to sit through without hating every second of it.
A loud clap of thunder boomed in the background, and a bright flash of lightening sparked across the sky. Within seconds the lights flicked of and she was left in darkness.
She sat on her bed on the far side of her room, holding her folded legs close to her body and lightly banging her head on her knees in frustration. Another bright flash of lightening lit up her room, revealing the sharp cuts on her arms.
She hissed a curse and hid them away under her blankets. Her thoughts were dark and disjointed from the world where everyone seemed to enjoy living in.
Downstairs her aunt and uncle slept peacefully, or awake, which ever it was, they were happy.
She on the other hand, was not at peace, she hated been alive and she hated been here.
Domino city had not impressed her the slightest bit. First impressions meant everything, and so far…she wasn't impressed by anyone or anything, especially the weather. As if to answer her, a loud clap of thunder once again broke the silence of her world.
She rose up from her bed and slowly made her way to the window, hoping that a bolt of lightning would be aimed directly at her, and end her empty life. Below her was a dark and empty street, drenched from the icy rain that poured from the skies. No one in sight; obviously the people that lived here were sane enough for that.
She frowned when she sensed a presence behind her, knowing exactly who it was. Did this nightmare ever end? His footsteps were barely audible, even to her extremely sensitive ears. They were slow and patient, making their way to her in an almost taunting pace.
Could anything be worse? She thought, and indeed her question was soon answered by that annoying voice in the back of her head. "Of course, it's your first day of school tomorrow."
Someone stepped behind her, so close that she could feel the coldness aura. The temperature seemed to drop, and she began to shiver. This was her nightmare, from which she could never escape.
A hand reached out from the darkness and grabbed hold of her shoulder.
