Hello, everyone. animaldoctor here. Looks like another alternate ending. This one was suggested by irresistablecookie, and I cannot believe I am actually going through with this. This one is going to be a little strange, so let's hope it's not too strange. One more side note: I don't really know what caveman language would be, so just telling you that everything except for the first two lines that any of the characters say are in caveman, just translated for you in English, because I didn't want to take the time to think a language up. Enjoy!
It had been a long day for Phinabunk and Gerb. They had just invented something they called "the wheel", and after that installed it and 3 others to something they liked to call "the car." Now, they were ready to sit by the campfire with their sister, Can-tok, her crush Jerabunk, their parents, and their friends, Isabelock, Boofgard, and Baljug, just taking a break for the night. "I guess we should wait until tomorrow to tell the about our new language," Gerb told his brother. "Yes, yes we should," said Phinabunk, but Isabelock had overheard their conversation.
"What did you say?," she asked, not understanding what they were speaking. Going back to his native caveman tongue, Phinabink said, "We call it English. But I really don't want to get into too much detail tonight." But Boofgard and Baljug could not help hearing what they were talking about. "Oh, come on," said Baljug. "I am always eager to learn a new language, especially if it was invented by you guys."
"No offense, Baljug, but you're eager to learn almost anything."
"That's true. Oh, come on, please?"
"No. Not until tomorrow. It's been a long night. Come on, Gerb, let's get to sleep." But everyone started following him, as if they were absolutely crazy, which, at this point, they could have been. They followed him into the house, where he stopped to say, "Are you guys really that interested?" Everyone replied in unison. "Yes." Oh great, so now he had everybody following him, wanting to learn something new.
He was able to shoo them off , but when he was finished getting ready for bed and he laid down on what felt like a rock hard bed (mostly because it was made of rock), everyone promptly ran toward him again, surrounding him. Oh, was it going to be a long night tonight.
Well, I hope that wasn't too stupid. Sorry it was so short. I feel lucky to have come up with this much. I will see you all next time, hopefully with a better story. Bye!
