Sorry guys about Total Drama Vets Vs. Rookies. I have and school piling me with homework and tests and quizzes. How am i suppose to know the capital of new Zeland?! Anyway, I heard my sister playing this song and i thought it could be fitted to a parody of it with no other than Mal and Alex. And for those of you who read my stories, I also have a ton of stories on under alextorch14 so be sure to check out those stories too. so now, on with the story.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING! except Alex Torch
I drive on a highway, it's night and I'm trying my best to keep me with hope. My phone is on low battery and I just don't know what to do. All i wanted was the best for me and my little sister, Alex. She's my entire life now that Mom and Dad are gone.
Floorboard's filled with her bags with clothes, An' empty coke bottles an' coffee cups. Drivin' through the rain with no radio,Tryin' not to wake her phone says, "Low battery"God, what if I break down?I'm just lookin' for an exit with a lotta lights. A safe little interstate a cheap hotel,With a single bed,And cable good enough for me an' Alley.
And I just wonder about the future just wondering what it would be like.
Some day, when she's old enough. She's gonna start askin' questions about them. Some kid at school brings one of his parents for show an' tell. An' gets her little mind a wonderin'
What would i tell her? I couldn't even bare to think about it, let alone tell her.
"Where's our parents? Do we have them?Do they not love us like they should?"Oh, maybe I'll find someone to love the both of us now,An' I'll tell her when she's old enough to know the it break her heart? Will she understand,That I had to leave? That's what was best for me an' Alley
Then I see the exit i was wanting and i pull out of the highway. The rain starts to lighten up and the sun is rising across the sky.
Big rigs are throwin' rain on my windshield now,An' I feel like they're laughin' at me.Finally the storm is lettin' up.An' the mornin' is breakin' free. It's a brand new day. It's a second chance.Yesterday is just a memory,For me an' Alley.
As the sun is barely completely over the horizon i can hear her start to toss and wake up. She's on three.
Floorboard is filled with her bags with ' empty coke bottles an' coffee there's one good thing that they gave me. An' she's startin' to wake up.
I see her eyes open and she smiles brightly "good morning, Alley. sleep well?," I ask "yeah, did you?," she asks "i didn't sleep, but it's alright. We'll have plenty of time in the future," i smile and turn into a hotel parking lot. "okay," she says.
Yes, this was a parody of Me and Emily by Rachel Proctor. I loved the song so i thought it would be great for a short story. Well, I'll see you guys later, bye!
