The Final Battle
"This is to be yours. One day the responsibility to be the Red Ranger will fall to you. Remember, protect the world from evil. Stand by your allies, and never run from a battle." Russell Shiba told his son Jayden, as he handed him a pentagon shaped object. Jayden took it, and looked at it. Russell looked up at Ji, his old friend, and now Mentor.
Russell stood up and put on his helmet, just as his team showed up. Carl, the Blue Ranger looked at him. "Master Xandred is on the move. We've got to go!" Carl called to his leader.
"Samurai Rangers, let's finish this!" Russell called out as he and the other Rangers raced to the front gate. Mentor Ji then ushered Jayden inside, so he wouldn't have to see the battle.
The gate opened up, and sure enough, Master Xandred, lord of the Nighloks, and a massive army of Moogers were marching towards the Mansion. Russell, Carl, Mark, the Green Ranger, Marie the Yellow Ranger, and Brittany, the Pink Ranger pulled out their Spin Swords, and charged at the enemy.
"You Rangers have been a nuisance far too long!" Xandred shouted to the Rangers.
Mark turned and faced Master Xandred. "As have you!" he replied to the monster.
"It is time for you to die Xandred, and we will see to it that it happens." Russell told Xandred boldly.
"We will see about that! Moogers, attack!" Xandred called.
The Moogers charged the Rangers, and the fight began. It was tougher than the Rangers expected. The Mooger's power seemed to have increased greatly since Master Xandred was now around.
Marie was the first Ranger to get knocked out by the Moogers. One Mooger struck her, and she dropped her Spin Sword, and turned around, while getting struck by a second Mooger. She dropped to the ground in a heap.
"Marie!" Brittany yelled. Marie was her best friend, and there was no way a stupid Mooger was going to kill her. Brittany used her Sky Fan, and blew the oncoming Moogers into dust before a Mooger struck her and she fell.
Mark was already on the ground when a Mooger struck him, making him power down. The three Rangers were unconscious with Moogers approaching them. Carl pulled out his Hydro Bow, and fired upon the Moogers, wiping them out. "That should stop you from hurting them." he said. He turned around only to be struck by Master Xandred himself.
"Blue Ranger, the Red Ranger's right hand man, will now be his right hand dead man." Xandred said.
Suddenly, a big sword knocked Xandred away. Russell had summoned his Fire Smasher, and had began attacking Xandred with it. Xandred pulled out his word and began fighting the Russell. Russell was no match for him.
A powerful attack sent Russell backwards, needing to use his Fire Smasher as a stand.
"Red Ranger, you have messed up my plans for the last time.' Xandred said, walking towards Russell. He then struck down Russell using his sword, and began walking away.
"You won't get away that easily monster." Russell said. He pulled out his Samuraizer, and began writing a symbol. "Symbol Power, Sealing Symbol!" he cried.
Xandred turned around. "What?" he asked before getting hit with the Sealing Symbol, and being sent back to the Netherworld. That was the last sight Russell Shiba saw before he died. He died in peace, knowing the world was now safe, and that his son would be there to stop any evil.
