At Anubis house, there was no such thing as a normal day. Jerome and Mara were having an argument over Poppy, Trudy was busy trying to fix the kitchen sink herself since Victor was out, Joy was in her room crying so loudly everyone could hear her from downstairs, Nina, Fabian, Alfie and Amber were down in the tunnels looking for the next clue, and Patricia and Eddie? At the moment, they were considered the most normal, sitting on the couch, chatting and occasionally poking fun at the other because that was just the way the communicated.
"I bet… Trudy will get sprayed by the kitchen hose in the next five seconds." Eddie stated, looking down at Patricia who was comfortably lying down on his lap.
She got up and looked at Trudy before looking back at him, "You're on."
"Five…" Eddie began counting down
"Four…" Patricia continued.
"Three…"
Sure enough, Trudy stood up after trying to fix the sink, thinking she had succeeded. But when she tried to turn it on, the tap broke, causing the water to wet her and the areas surrounding her.
The pair burst in to hysterical laughter and although they knew it was wrong, they couldn't stop.
"Okay, you win," Patricia said before resting her head back on Eddie's lap again, "What do you want, weasel?"
"Eh, I don't l know, a car, an house, a hoagie, it all sounds really tempting-"
"EDDIE!"
"Okay! Fine!" He huffed playfully, still wearing one of his award winning smirks, "Guess I'll just go for a kiss then."
Before Patricia could say anything to reject him, he leaned forward, quickly placing his lips on hers.
But of course, their luck was never good enough for them to continue uninterrupted. The four Sibunas barreled through the cellar door, tripping over each other, anxious to inform Patricia of their new discovery.
"Patricia! We-" Nina stopped short upon seeing her and Eddie.
They quickly pulled away, heat rising to their cheeks.
"Hey Nina," Patricia greeted awkwardly, "Anything the matter?"
"Yeah, we kinda have to tell you something…" Nina said, hoping Patricia would get the hint.
"Oh yeah, of course, " She off the couch before quickly giving Eddie a little peck on the lips, "Later slimeball."
