…It All Falls down…
Prologue
1
I remember that day, my brother, Anthony, and I were going to meet the new President of the United American Citadel. Any other day I would've been ecstatic to meet him… but today it was strictly business, well it was for me.
"Oh my God, sir, it's an honor to meet you in person" my brother, Anthony, said in complete awe.
"No problem, son, it is always nice to meet the boys on the front lines." Said the president
"Sir, I have urgent news. It involves your safety." I intervened.
"Calm down little bro'. It's the damn President of the U.A.C.!" exclaimed my brother.
I got fed up and blew my top off at the both of them. "No! Not this time! I am not losing a President!"
"Soldier, contain yourself immediately!" the President ordered.
I grabbed the president and flipped him towards me, "NO YOU CONTAIN YOURSELF AND STOP YOUR BEAURECRATIC BULLSHIT!"
"Would you stay quiet before I send you off to Marshall Space maximum security prison?"
People were now looking at us, and then I continued on with my rant.
"We all voted for you because you were one of us! We thought that you would end all this bullshit and actually help us, help the people in need, but no! You are such a…" my train of thought trailed off because I saw a glare coming from an adjacent building, then I saw the laser marker, IT'S A SNIPER! It roared through my head in a matter of milliseconds.
Before the president or his guards could do anything, I grabbed him by the tie and threw him behind a car. Then the shot rang out while his secret service guards threw me to the ground face first. Ouch, that hurt. But it took me a couple more seconds to realize that I've been grazed by the plasma bullet. That stings like hell. And now I have a bloody nose.
"Hey Jeff, Eric, y'all threw me down to hard." I said
"Shut up." Jeff said "Command, this is Buccaneer 1, Blackbeard has been attacked, shots fired; send in a cleanup crew we're getting him back to the Ship1."
"This is command, over. Bring Blackbeard back to the ship. See you soon, over."
I told them to take my car because it was fast and heavily armed, but they rejected. I moved towards the car and when I did, it blew up yet they told me to take him back to the base. The two agents returned fire while we ran. While running we started receiving all sorts of transmissions from all over Jupiter's orbit; Io, Calisto, and Neburea2. First it was Anthony's Xo3 on Io (e-oh):
"Major Ramirez (Anthony, Chase's brother) we have a situation, the colonists are armed and attacking the armory. We'll be overrun in mere minutes."
Then it was Hayley on Calisto, "Chase! We need your help! Colonists are attacking us they broke through the main gate! Please…"
Then it was static.
"Damn it!"
Then he had a flash back….
