Chapter one: Christopher Matthew Benson
On January 16th, Christopher Matthew Benson was born at Mercy Hospital, precisely at 4:08am. The only trouble was, his mother, Olivia, was now stuck between a rock and a hard place; unable to get out.
In her first trimester, Elliot turned up out of the blue. At first, Olivia was determined to ignore him as much as possible, clearly upset about what he had done. Then, she was angry. And finally, after they met up and he declared his love for her, she gave in. What else /could/ she have done? Elliot had been with her through thick and thin. And seeing someone every day had to spark up some feelings. Although she was angry at what he did, she told herself that she was in love with him.
Olivia didn't tell Elliot that she was pregnant when he came back. Rather, she left it for about a month. She also knew how protective AND possessive he was of her so she made the awful choice of telling him it was his.
Even though a month seems extremely quick to get someone pregnant, Elliot was ecstatic. Over the moon, he hugged and kissed her for what seemed like forever and immediately wanted to start getting prepared. Knowing who the real father was and knowing that he didn't know that he was going to be a dad, killed Olivia but she had already made her choice. No matter how wrong it was.
