It was the way it always was in his town. Dark, cold, and rainy. He shivered slightly beneath his coat, dragging his gloved hands against the damp brick walls.
"I can't believe I forgot everything, and everyone," He said, as if someone was there, "Even the ones most important to me."
"Am I important to you?" A male voice spoke from behind him.
Startled, he turned around to come face-to-face with the man he had met earlier.
"I wouldn't know."
The man sighed glumly. "I used to be, you know."
"Really?"
"Yeah. We used to be inseparable," The man smiled with a slight chuckle, "the couldn't keep us apart." He said that as his smile turned to a frown, and he looked at the man in front of him sadly.
"Things have changed, haven't they?"
"Yup. Ever since you got in that fight."
The mans hand traced over the scar that was shaped in a 'X' on his face.
"It's sad."
"What is?"
"The fact that that's the last thing I remember." He smiled slightly.
The man chuckled. "That is sad."
Awkward silence filled the two of them, as they were desperately trying to find something to talk about.
The man started to shiver.
"You want this?" The man asked, handing him his jacket.
"Thanks." He smiled warmly as he put on his jacket, heat immediately covering him.
"You know," the man said in deep thought, "you know my name."
"Yeah, Saïx." He smiled.
"But I don't know yours." He said returning her sight to the mans orange-hued colored eyes.
"That is very true," the man paused a moment, then smiled, "I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm Xemnas." He said putting out his right hand for him to shake.
"Saïx." He smiled warmly and shook the mans hand.
"Shall we go get some ice cream, and I can show you where the stars fall down?," he paused, "Saïx?" He said, holding out his hand.
"We shall," he paused also, "Xemnas." He said smiling, and took the mans hand.
