She had a beautiful smile. I stretched far across her face, lighting up the room. He'd seen it almost every day. She was just a happy person.

Her eyes sparkled in the sun. They were a beautiful shade of brown. And they twinkled when he took her hand as they walked or lounged on the sofa.

Her hair was soft. A light shade of blonde. It smelled like strawberries, and tickled his nose when they sat together on the couch.

They could spend hours there, cuddling together. Sometimes they talked, sometimes they just snuggled up next to each other and fell asleep. And sometimes they stayed there, and just thought to themselves. One time she asked him if he'd done this with his other companions, just sitting close together. He'd said yes.

But that was a lie. He didn't do this with the others. She was different. Because he felt so comfortable with her. They could talk to each other about so many things. She listened to him, whether he was babbling about chameleon circuits, or getting something emotional off his chest.

She's always stood by him. Even when he'd regenerated, she stayed with him. She was his best friend, his rock. He trusted her with his life. Because if he couldn't trust Rose, god knows if he could trust anyone.

Rose walks up to the TARDIS console, and sits down next to the Doctor on the ground "Hey, what are you fiddling with now?"

"Oh, nothing," says the doctor. "Just thinking."

Rose arches an eyebrow. "About?"

"Oh, all kinds of stuff. Binary fuses, strawberries, that kind of thing," he answered.

She smiled her bright smile. "Hmm. You want some lunch? I can make something, and we'll eat in here. Does that sound good?"

"Yeah." The Doctor thought for a second. "Rose?"

"Yeah, Doctor?" she said, turning towards him.

"Thanks for everything," he said. That didn't seem like enough, so he impulsively leaned over and lightly kissed her on the cheek.

She blushed and smiled, then lifted herself up from her seat next to him and walked to the kitchen.

He stayed sitting on the ground, thinking. Strawberry shampoo. Sparkling brown eyes. Lighting up the room with her smile.

Rose Tyler, his favorite person in the world.
