Prologue
John Watson was never one to complain, he didn't complain about his sister, his lack of friends, or even his horrible school. He just kept going he had already decided he wanted to be a doctor and maybe he would go into the military. That is what his dad had done and that is probably what was expected of him. He didn't mind school that much. The people in it weren't that great but he could handle them. He didn't learn that much but he applied himself so he got a good range of As and Bs.
Sherlock Holmes on the other hand complained about everything, he complained about his brother, he complained about how boring everything was and he definitely complained when his parents decided to send him to a public school so he could hopefully learn to be more social. He detested school and everything about it. He deleted almost everything he got taught as soon as the test was over. He saved some of the information about science but the labs and activities they did were horribly mundane; dissecting strawberries, finding your blood type, things like that.
But public schools were doomed to be worse than the private schools he had gone to before. He was dreading the first day while lying on his bed the night before. Little did he know John Watson was doing the same thing across town.
