-Disclaimer-
I don't own any of the characters that this could be about. Trust me.
Author's Note: This is a very vague story, and for a reason. There are many characters in fandoms that this fic could work with (SoxKai (KH) TidusxYuna (FF10),CraigxAshley (Degrassi) to name a few), but it is a romantic theme. Sorry for the Yaoi lovers out there, I just didn't think the story would be so compelling with it being THAT vague (i.e: he/she looked deep into she/he's eyes). It also has another theme to it. Don't Wait! You may regret it one day.
The ocean breeze and the salty sea met her face as she sat silent. She had so much on her mind. The quiet night surrounded her body as she shivered from the wind. She heard the sound of someone coming towards her, and she bundled up in her clothes to heep herself warm. The person came into view, and she looked at him with longing, and at the same time with hatred. Hatred for making her care so much only to be treated wrongly.
He sat next to her and in one swift movement his arms were around her. She felt the warmth of his body and gave in to his comfort. He wanted to beg her forgiveness, but all he could think of was how good the moment felt.
Looking back at me I see
That I never really got it right
I never stopped to think of you
I'm always wrapped up in
Things I cannot win
In the cold dead of the night, the two looked up at the sky. They wondered if this was all just a dream of what they wanted it to be. They wondered if tomorrow would be a day like any other, where they would hide their emotions and hide their wistful gazes. He wondered if she knew what he really thought of her.
You are the antidote that gets me by
Something strong
Like a drug that gets me high
She knew he was sorry, but like every other girl she wanted to hear it told from his lips; to hear his voice. To hear a sincere and unique way of professing love that they both had felt for each other. Maybe even still felt.
He was so warm.
The moon shone through the clouds in the dark blue sky, and they looked at each other. Their eyes showed longing of the truth from one another. He wanted to call to her, to change what he had done and said.
What I really meant to say
Is I'm sorry for the way I am
I never meant to be so cold
Would she forgive him and love him once again. His eyes showed that much to her. The beauty of that meeting was almost too good to be true. And as the moments went on as they sat in silence, he wanted to make it all known.
And I'm sorry about all the lies
Maybe in a different light
You could see me stand on my own again
Cause now i can see
You were the antidote that got me by
Something strong like a drug that got me high
Her head was resting on his shoulder. His arms were around her holding her tight. His thoughts went around in his mind, but none of them came out. His apology was in his mind, it was rehearsed to the point where he could say it without a stutter or halt. He wanted her to know, so badly.
I never meant to be so cold
I never really wanted you to see
The screwed up side of me that I keep
Locked inside of me so deep
It always seems to get to me
I never really wanted you to go
So many things you should have known
I guess for me theres just no hope
I never meant to be so cold
They stayed the whole night in that warm embrace. As the sun shone out from the horizon, he finally was ready to take the dive. He opened his mouth-
And she said, "Good-bye."
