My first 'fic, I'm so used to roleplaying, it's hard to just write everything out. Anyways, please tell me what you think! I know it probably sucks, but whatever.

Disclaimer:

I don't own any Warriors characters, nor do I own the series Warriors, written by Erin Hunter.

It was raining, the drops of water landed in Wind's pelt, making her shiver. She shook out her fur, a new shelter needed to be found. The gang of loners was cold, wet, hungry, and tired. Wind and Rain were getting tired of Eagle's bossy attitude, and Boulder was quiet, as usual. Eagle was ahead, just padding along like a kit in Greenleaf. Who did he think he was to have a queen walking in such conditions? That's right, Wind's kits would be due soon, Wind and Eagle's kits. How could he be so indifferent? Wind decided to speak up.

"Eagle!" She called to him through the storm, "How long must we continue on?"

"Not much farther," He told her reassuringly, "I remember passing a sheltered cave when we came by this way before. Just keep walking, we'll get there."

We'll get there, we'll get there. Yeah, like she hadn't heard that one before. Hmph!

"But we need to stop, my nose is all wet and my pads are cracked! I feel so ill, I'm ready to collapse," Rain complained. "And I'm sick of this weather, when will we get out of these relentless mountains?"

"Soon, Rain! But for now, we must keep going, we'll reach an end at some time."

"Yes, sometime in leaf-bare!" Wind retorted angrily.

"Relax, I can see the cave from here." Eagle told her, obviously sick of her sarcastic remarks. And sure enough, it was there, and it was dry. Wind breathed a sigh of relief. Rest at last!

The cave was decent, dry, warm, all the comforts of what they had left behind. Then, Wind remembered. They used to belong to a mismatch Clan of kittypets and loners called Bloodclan, but then Scourge, the leader, was killed, and the horrendous Clan dissipated. They stuck together as the forest where they had once lived had been destroyed by twoleg monsters and workfolk. The four Clans that had once lived there had left as well. Mist settled outside the cave, and rain ceased to fall. Wind was tired, so she lay her head down on the cool rock and fell asleep.

Hours later, Wind woke. How long had she been sleeping? Eagle was at the entrance of the cave, keeping guard. Boulder sat near him, and Rain was asleep at the other end of the cave. Wind woke and stretched, her silvery pelt gleamed in the morning sun, but for some reason, Rain's seemed dull. Eagle and Boulder turned,

"It's about time you woke up." Eagle said to her, "Wake Rain, we're halfway through this mountain."

"Finally!" Wind remarked. She padded over to Rain and nudged her gently, but Rain didn't move. She poked at Rain harder, then licked her ear. Rain remained still.

"Oh, no." Wind said quietly.

"What?" Asked Boulder.

Wind looked Boulder straight in the eyes, while hers were full of sadness. "Rain is dead."

Boulder shivered, his pelt prickled, then he ran out of the cave, onto the cliff.

"Boulder, no!" Eagle called after him and chased him at his fastest, but it was too late. Boulder jumped off the ledge.
