Chloe Meets April and Casey
Eight year old Chloe Calls was helping Donny in the lab. He offered to let her help out when she mentioned that she was interested in mathematics and computer technology.
Donny was pleased to have Chloe's help. With her help, the broken items got fixed in no time.
"I really appreciate your help, Chloe," Donny said.
"Glad to be of service," Chloe said.
"Why don't we spend some time with my brothers?"
"Great idea."
"We should clean up first."
"All right."
Chloe and Donny cleaned up the lab. They finished in half an hour and walked out of the lab.
The turtles and Chloe were in the entertainment area watching an animated movie. Just then, April O'Neil and Casey Jones entered the lair holding hands.
"How's it going?" April asked.
"Did you adopt a little girl and not say anything to us?" Casey asked.
"Hi, I'm Chloe Calls," Chloe said, putting the movie on pause. "You must be April O'Neil and Casey Jones."
April and Casey nodded. Chloe shook hands with both of them.
"Nice to meet you, Chloe," April said.
"Same here," Chloe said. "By the way, I've been living with my grandparents since my parents were killed in a fire less than 2 months ago."
"Sorry to hear that," Casey said sympathetically. "My father died in a fire that the Purple Dragons deliberately set."
"The fire my parents died in was caused by faulty wiring," Chloe explained.
Casey was surprised that Chloe sounded calm when she talked about her parents. He had been a wreck when he lost his father.
"Mikey and I found Chloe in the sewers," Donny explained.
"We introduced ourselves and she seemed to accept us right away," Mikey said.
"I don't judge by appearance," Chloe explained.
"Glad to hear that," April said.
"Miss Calls has been accepted by all of us and we are always happy to have her here just like you and Mr. Jones are always welcome here," Splinter said entering the room.
"I wish April and I could stay longer but we have a date," Casey said.
"Have a good time and it was nice meeting you," Chloe said.
"Same here," April said.
"Hopefully, we'll see you again," Casey said.
"That would be great," Chloe said.
April and Casey told the turtles they were leaving and all of them told them to enjoy their date. Then April and Casey left holding hands and Splinter left the room.
"What do you think of April and Casey?" Mikey asked.
"They're really nice," Chloe said. "How long have they been dating?"
"Since Thanksgiving," Leo said.
"He asked her to be his girlfriend right at the table and she fainted," Raph said.
"I carried her to the lab where she woke up," Donny said.
"Looks like everything worked out between them," Chloe said.
The turtles nodded in agreement. Then Chloe resumed the movie and she and the turtles watched until the movie ended.
