Chapter One
The Haunting Dream
A melody filled the realm he resided in. The realm of his dreams, where it was always black.
A soft voice sung to the melody. A song he heard every night. A song that was never completed…
"Come to me children…"
He turned his head in all directions, his spikey, blonde hair falling out of place slightly.
"And follow my way…"
His pure blue eyes tried to find the source of the voice.
"Into the world of Darkness and Magic…"
The voice echoed off nothing.
He tried to call out. To yell at the voice, but nothing happened. He moved his mouth repeatedly. No words came out, no sounds.
He suddenly felt water rising. Looking down he saw his reflection, or rather what should be his reflection.
It was that of a boy with brown hair, though the same blue eyes stared at him.
Then, the water plunged. He sunk deep into the frozen waters. Though, there was no difference, it was as if, he was always in these waters. As if he deserved to be nothing, and to stay nothing.
As if this was his death…
With one gasping breath, he shot up. Eye's wide, and knuckles white from the grip he held onto the bed covers.
"Get a hold of yourself, Roxas…" He muttered to himself, as he stared down at his sweaty palms.
He'd been having those dreams for sometime, and it's been getting to him a lot. He was skinnier, and paler than usual.
"Roxas! Are you up yet?" His mother called from downstairs.
"Yeah! I'm up!" He called back. "Or… Atleast I think I am…" He muttered to himself as he got out of bed.
