THE CHASE AND THE TRIGGER
Yuuki had been running away from him for years and Zero hadn't yet failed to chase her down. He was only now beginning to see the pattern that Yuuki had foreseen from the start. Several times now he had cornered her with the Bloody Rose cocked, pointed at her chest; yet she stood tall with head held high, knowing he could never pull the trigger.
He hated that she was right every time; every single goddamn time, his finger rebelled. He knew this time wouldn't be any different from the last time, but he never grew tired of the chase.
