As time goes by
3 years later.....
Ayame sits up and yawns. Yuri and Koga are already awake. "Good Morning." she says. " Hey you're finally awake!" Koga says. Yuri sighs. "What's wrong with her." Ayame says with worry in her voice. " Her father passed away today" Koga says. Ayame looks closely at Yuri's face. she sees tear marks down her face. " How did he die?" Ayame asks Yuri. Yuri doesn't answer. "He tried to defeat the head bird of paradise demon but the demon.... took him by surprise and came up behind him." "So he really didn't pass away he was killed." Ayame says sadly. " It's not fair.... The stupid bird snuck up behind him! I hate those stupid things so much!" Yuri says. She starts to cry again. Koga goes over to comfort her. She lays on his shoulder. Ayame stands up and goes over to Reshonia. "Are you O.K.?" Ayame asks. "Yes I'm O.K. I'm just a little surprised that he didn't tell anyone where he was going and didn't take any of the others with him." Reshonia says. Yuri and Koga walk over holding hands. Ayame winces. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "Mom, are you o.k.?" Yuri aska her mother. "Yes, I'm o.k. I just miss you're father that's all." "Come on we have to be at the burial in a few minutes" Reshonia says then stands up. The 4 walk out.
The Next Day
Yuri sits on the ledge of the cliff looking up at the sky. Koga walks over and sits down by her. "You miss you're father don't you?" Koga says. Yuri nodds. "He's always doing things without telling anyone and I knew that it would lead to...." She stops and sighs. " I just wish he wouldn't have done that". Koga puts his arm around her. "It'll be o.k. I know how it feels remember when I lost my father when I turned 11 ?" he says. "Yeah, I do But he was very sick from that disease he had gotten from that monkey demon he fought."Yuri says. Koga looks up at the sky then back at Yuri. "So the deaths aren't so different."He says. Yuri stands up with her fists clenched at her sides. "Not that different!? It is different! My dad's stupid bravery that got him killed! Your dad HAD to fight that demon, there ARE differences in those deaths!" she says madly. Koga stands up in front of her "Well sorry for tying to make you feel better!" He says. He turns to walk away. "Wait!" Yuri says. Koga turns around. She catches up to him."Koga I didn't mean to...."Yuri sighs."I'm sorry, I just miss my dad thats all... I over reacted." She kisses him."Can you forgive me?" she asks. "Yeah,I can never stay mad at you anyway."He says. They kiss. Then walk back to the den.
4 LONG years later
"KOGA!YURI! LISTEN IT'S AN EMERGENCY! WHERE ARE YOU TWO AT!!!!!????" Ayame yells. Yuri and Koga run over to her. "What's wrong Ayame?!" Yuri asks. "It's horrible! My dad said that the women and men of our tribe are to be separated!!!! That means we'll never see Koga,Ginta,Or Hakaku again!"She says. "WHAT!?" Yuri says. she starts to get mad but then starts to cry,Ayame starts to cry too. She runs over to Yuri and hugs her. Koga puts his arms around them. He sighs. "Don't worry, we'll see each other again one day." Ayame's father calls the three over. "Koga you are to come with me and the other men of our tribe." Ayame's father says. Koga turns around to Yuri and Ayame. "Well, It's time for me to go." He says. Yuri hugs then kisses him. Ayame hugs him. Ayame's father goes to get Hakaku and Ginta. Ayame goes with him to say bye to the two. "Koga I wish you didn't have to go." Yuri says sadly. "I know" he says. He turns around but before he goes he tells Yuri he loves her.
The men and boys of the tribe head off to the Northern mountains to live there. Yuri and Ayame are going to miss Hakaku and Ginta, But their going to miss Koga the most.
