Chapter I
TOME'
Today is the day when I start my sophomore years at Saint Peters boarding school. I walked up to the board where everyone was standing. I saw a news article with the school's name on it. Today at Saint Peters Boarding school, there has been another murder. 17-year-old Makita Sara has been murder. This is not the first but hopefully the last. "What in the hell", I said to myself. "Makita Sara was found on 44th street up north about a mile away from school. If you know anything about the murder, please call 1-800-609-6163.
I started heading towards my dorm that I didn't really know where it was. The sun was beaming down on me and I was carrying three heaving bags. I came upon a water fountain. It was big with a lion head in the front. There was water coming out of the mouth of the lion. "What a beautiful carving", thought to myself. "It's a beauty isn't it", a voice said from behind the trees. "Who are you", "Please don't hurt me, I'll do anything," I yelled with my voice sounding nervous. Its okay I wont hurt, actually I go to this school.

When I looked at her, I saw the most beautiful creature in the whole world. I think I'm in love. Even if I was it would never work out because what I am, what I would always be. A horrible creature of the night. A creature that lives off of human blood. a vampire.
