Daydreams:

Deserts. Some people claim that they're boring lifeless places, however I disagree. I think deserts are pretty interesting once you get past the sand and heat. When me and pops would travel to barren places, I always got a kick out of playing in the desert. If the sand wasn't too hot, I would go barefoot and climb on sandstone, I would pretend to be a mountain climber looking for kidnapped maidens in the small caves. I especially loved the rain season in deserts, it was always so beautiful seeing everything go grey, and having that nice wet dirt smell in the air. The only thing that sucks about being in the desert or anywhere actually is that my flaming red hair gives me away when I try to hide. But I prefer to hide in plane sight anyway.

Anyway, me and my Pops were in Europe at the moment and I couldn't get my mind off the desert because Pops was making me read and do so much paperwork that it was driving me crazy. I swear I was developing Attention Deficit Disorder, or ADHD for short. Oops I'm getting off topic again, anyway so I have to read all these books and memorize everything in it and its not just one book it's thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands, and I always have to read in a dank old library with a bunch of religious freaks. Pops says that I'm training to become a Bookman, which probably explains why I have to read all of the books.

I travel a lot, and I get to meet a ton of different people. I play this game where I pretend to be someone else every time I go somewhere new. Out of the hundreds of thousands of books I read, only a handful are fiction, but I always base my new character off of a character I read about in a book. It's pretty fun, sometimes I'm really confident and take the lead in social situations, other times I like to be shy and antisocial. By far my favorite part of the game was to come up with a name for my character, at the moment I was Dimitri Bookman, a European boy that came from a poor family in Poland. I had huge dreams to open a candle shop however my family suffered from the Black Death and I was the only survivor. I'm now traveling with my Grandfather to find a cure so that no one would suffer from the disease as I had.

Man what a mouth full, explaining these things out loud is always the lousiest part of the game, because you can't help but feel sorry for how stupid and gullible people can be. It's not my fault that people can accept lies so easily though. Daydreaming sucks though because as soon as Pops notices he throws a book at me...Ouch.

thanks for reading! :)
