The Prophecy

Prologue
Since the late 1990's, scientists have been conducting cloning experiments on animals, alive and dead. During the next ten years, they failed mostly but had some successful experiments of the clones surviving. The year 2000 came and the scientist, George Murphy, took the DNA from a bone, a raptor, and created the first clone of a dinosaur. His name blasted the papers and his successful cloned dinosaur and it led him to clone another, a female this time. He bred the two dinosaurs and eggs were laid. It continued on for another forty years, till something changed. The fourth generation of Raptors developed the ability to speak and could think and behave like humans. They could do math, read and write with their claws and could be taught manners. But they still had their animalistic personalities, no matter how much they could communicate with humans.
Two hundred years later, the year is 2240 and raptors and humans have been living in coexistence for a hundred years now and it was relatively peaceful till a rogue raptor, named Conan, killed a human and soon an all-out war started. The war was long and bloodthirsty, leaving the lands torn. What once was America had turned to a wasteland. Bodies littered the grounds, leaving families; human and raptors alike, as loved ones were left behind, mourning the losses. The humans let loose bombs, thinking it would win the battle but they were wrong. The raptors proved to be more resilient than they let on, smarter. Bombs had been used on both sides, adding to the body count that only kept growing with each passing day. The war lasted for ten years, leaving both races nearly extinct, leaving only human females left and male raptors. It took even longer to clean up the carnage and to start up new settlements for the survivors, building new laws and shaky new relationships.
Goddess Cassandra, who had been once a well-known in Greek mythology but was soon forgotten and her appearance changed, looking more like a potato than a sexy woman, had been watching since the beginning and became disgusted after the war. She thought of a way to get them to work together and that was to force them into an arrangement that would keep both races going. She appeared to them one day and told them that they could now reproduce together and had to survive or else they would die out.
Four hundred years later passed since the war and cleanup, the races had started to prosper finally. Villages were formed with a main government that has broken into different branches. Each village had their chief and mate that are in charge and their own set of rules. Mating doesn't start the raptor is 14 months old which is 20 in human years
Things continued on peacefully till one chief and his mate were forced to go on adventure to save their eggs, the first human male and the first female rapture to be born in years and fulfill the Prophecy.
Some Rules:

Arranged marriages are legal.
Rape is punishable by death unless proven innocent.
Murder of an innocent child and or egg, is punishable by death.
Banishment only happens when an offence is committed three times.
