"Caaatoooo" Glimmer whines
"What?" Cato replied, frustrated
"Clove's giving me the evil eye again" She replied
Cato looked at his district partner who was glaring at them, or rather at him.
"I'll go talk to her." He replied
"Be back soon" She said while batting her eyelashes
Cato went to Clove who was standing at the knife station
"Hey" He said
"What do you want?" Clove snarled
"Whoa, calm down sweetheart,"
A knife went past Cato and landed in that part of the dummy. Cato gulped
"Do not call me sweetheart"
"Clove what's wrong?" Cato asked
"Do you wanna know what's wrong? Well i'll tell you what's wrong, You go flirt with that blonde bimbo from 1 like you don't have a girlfriend and now you have the nerve to ask me what's wrong?" She seethed while looking hurt and angry at the same time
Cato was now looking at the other tributes who stopped to look at them "Clove not so loud" oh no i said the wrong thing. Cato you're such an idiot He mentally scolded his self
Clove was now holding dozens of knives and threw them at one dummy at the same time.
Cato grabbed Clove's hands to keep her from throwing anymore knives at the poor dummy who was supposed to be him. "Look Clove, I don't like Glimmer in any way." He tried to calm her down but she won't listen, She wont even look at him
"I'm sorry" He said not caring if the others were listening
Clove finally looked at him and her eyes were now bright with unshed tears that she tried to hold back "I forgive you, but don't you dare do it again." She said
Finally training was over, they were on their way back to their room Cato hugged Clove "I am really sorry about today" He apologized again
"I told you I already forgive you" Clove said laughing while entering their room
"Well, goodnight" Cato said
"Yeah goodnight" She replied
Cato looked around to see if Brutus and Enobaria are still up. Upon seeing that they're not around He kissed Clove goodnight and went to his room.
Clove was standing there with an eyebrow raised and said "We have been together for so long and he still blushes like a girl."
