Arkham City from an Arkham Man

Oh, What a clueless town we live in,

Madness is the heart of our world,

Shining our insanity like a dark pearl,

O, what a funhouse, a house of fine mirrors,

Reflecting the world with our shame,

Along with the destruction made in our name,

Gifted with choice, we always choose the worst,

Like we don't have a choice for may well be a curse,

Live well like the crazed slogan would say,

Too bad irony took it first and made its pay,

Yes, it's always like this every day,

The grass is nothing but reflections of the night,

Black as the cities that last without light,

A grim ruin on every sight,

For love no more,

I saw the storm when it came,

And every madness of the weather grew all insane,

Me, of course, painted in white grew the same,

Lips patted in red representing my shed,

Under rule of the clown that I like instead,

My life in gore bringing my reign in bed,

Nothing to fear but the bat,

The Bat, the Bat, the freaking Bat,

Yes, yes I hate that,

So sick of that hero off the corner of my eye,

So bold and slick and full of sly,

And so hard to get by,

O what kind of hero breaks you without a reply,

I know well like the words that I write,

From the eye-eating rats coming in every sight,

But I have control over them in every might,

For I shall be...the Rat,

A probable enemy to that nasty ol' bat!

I shall have the town in this no man's land,

Have an empire along with a fearless clan,

And take the Joker's place with my incredible plan,

That clown better watch my world come as the parade's band,

To an Arkham City for the Arkham Man!
