The rain drizzles outside, falling in many layers that give the illusion of a glittering, luminescent world as it blankets the world in dewdrops. An irony - how can something so pretty be so sad?
The image glows with a dim light, the overcast sky only enhances the silver-gray theme. Luminescent in sorrow as the pale gray clouds weep softly.
It struck me, as I walked through with a heavy heart, the gentle sorrow raining down, mirroring my heart. A gentle weeping inside, a soft cry constantly haunting me.
It is these times that I can appreciate what is truly inside, the true extent of what I feel.
Meanwhile, I walk down the stairs, intent on capturing the falling glitter - only to find it had ceased, eased by the softly glowing sun lighting up the world.
A reminder - not everything lasts. Sorrow will pass and the light will always find its way back.
Authoress's Note: I wrote this on reflection of what actually happened to me - I thought it was too pretty not to share, so hopefully I am not making a fool of myself by forcing someone else to "narrate" what I had seen.
