Diaclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha and co.

Lone Wolf: I was in a mood, so I wrote this story. Sorry it's so short though. Well RR everyone!

It's Not Really The End

He had gone and done it again. Gone and let his anger get the best of

him, and now she was gone.

-

"Where were you" Inuyasha asked almost in a yell.

"With Sango, Miroku, and Shippo. Why should you care, you have Kikyo" Kagome yelled back.

"Oh, and I'm just supposed to believe that you wer with them, and not out doing something else"

"You know what Inuyasha! I can't take it anymore. I'm leaving for a while"

"Fine" Inuyasha yelled as he slammmed the door to their room.

-

Two days later he had gotten the call. Kagome had been hit by a car, and may not make it. He's hurried to the hospital as quickly s he could, and got to see her for a short time, before she could no longer hold on. The last thing she said to him was"I'm sorry I upset you so much...I...love...you..."

He sat there in that room holding her limp hand, and crying, begging, praying for her to come back...But she didn't.

He had nothing to live for anylonger, and had been getting drunk a lot lately. One night when he was walking into the bar, Koga was on his way out.

"It's your fault mutt! Kagome is gone, and it's your fault" Koga yelled as he pushed Inuyasha out into the street.

"You know what Koga, I really don't want to hear it anymore. So please just leave me be." Inuyasha said.

Koga made a few more attempts to het Inuyasha to swing first, But Inuyasha was to depressed to care about anything anymore.

After having a few to many drinks, and remembering what Koga had said, it was all finally to much for him anymore. he returned to his appartment, pulled out the pistol he'd hidden in the cupboard, placed to his temple, and the last thing that crossed his mind before he pulled the trigger was, 'No Kagome, I'm sorry...I'll be with you soon.'

Miroku found him the next moring with a dried tear stain on his cheek. he couldn't believe his friend had done this, that he hadn't noticed soon enough to help. He, Sango, Keade, and Shippo arranged for him to be buried next to Kagome. It was the best they could do for him now.

To this day, you can still read the word young Shippo had put on Inuyasha's Headstone.

Life never really ends

You just sometimes need a new beginning
