Note: Well… I have excuses okay? Yuki-baka annoyed me all yesterday long to make me write something nice. Even if I didn't want to, I had a weird dream cause of her… Well, here it is.
They were in the world of Babylon. Or maybe in the realm of the Great Spirits. She doesn't know anymore, and he doesn't either. Not that it matters.
They know they can't kill each other. They've tried. She was able to endure his fire; he could dodge any attack of her.
She knows they tried.
They face each other, bloodied, lesions marring their skin.
He knows they tried.
They look in each other's eyes, searching a sign of weakness.
She had, long ago, stopped crying. He couldn't see the tear tracks on her face anymore.
He had, long ago, killed all of her friends and comrades. She was sure they were not living, as she was sure she was totally alone.
I hate you. She says now, though her iron-like calm is gone. Dead with her friends. She's too tired to even stand before him.
I know. He responds, tired as well, though he doesn't care. He doesn't really know why he's tired, maybe because his fire was stronger to begin with and elements don't like to be called for nothing.
They are alone, the two of them, in an artificial light.
She clenches her fists tightly. She can't fight with her spirit anymore, but oh how she wants to.
He sighs, and decides to fight fair for once. She deserved it. One more sigh, and he tries to enter her mind, to destroy her, definitely.
They fight.
Without her vigor of long ago, when she was young, and shone brilliantly with the light of her beliefs.
Without his flaming hatred, born from his first war with humans and the disappearance of his mother.
Mechanical, that's what it is. Habits are hard to erase.
They start.
Even if this is useless, they'll fight. It's their duty.
Until a sun rise.
Destroy me now please… It's so much not like me… I hate that… Stupid girls and stupid dreams… That's for your good mark in german Yuki-baka, okay?
