Memo: This is the first story I am posting on this new account on even though I have posted this story on Quizilla already. :D You know, I feel it probably would have been smarter to have submit this story ON Valentine's Day since that is when the story takes place... BUT OH WELL!
Do try to enjoy this very short drabble. :3
From the Heart
The moment he entered the classroom, he wanted nothing more than to blow the whole world up. That smug look on his rival's face as all the girls flocked around him; the words that left his mouth when seeing just how angry he was. "You lose."
"Stupid Uchiha..." Deidara grumbled, now stomping down the hallways of the school and glaring at whoever stared. "Thinks he so much better 'cause he gets more chocolate... Hmph! Just 'cause I don't get any chocolate doesn't mean he's better than--"
He almost bit his tongue when someone had suddenly grabbed the back of his shirt and nearly pull him down. Swiveling around with the most enraged look in his eyes, he was just about to snap at whoever wanted to make his day worse, that is, until he saw who it was.
Just behind him was one of his classmates, who was resting one hand on her knee as she panted heavily. It looked as if she had just ran to catch up with him. In the palm of her other hand, which she had just in front of his face, was a small, clay dove with a chocolate wrapped with red tied around its neck.
Deidara stood there, looking rather speechless as he stared at this small creation in surprise. His eyes drifted to the face of this girl just as she lifted her gaze from the floor, though she was still panting.
"Err..." He was literally without speech. "Uhh..."
"Take it," she persisted, thrusting the clay bird closer to him.
Still staring at her chagrined expression, he gingerly took the bird from her hands. Before he could say anything more, she bowed and dashed down the hall, taking one more shy glance at him over her shoulder before turning corner.
Deidara simply stood there, his arms not moving from when taking the bird from her. When realizing what he was doing -- standing in the middle of the hallway like an idiot -- he quickly shook his head and examined the bird. Judging by the imperfections, he assumed she had made it herself. Not only that, but everything about it made him think she was trying to copy his style. Though he would usually be miffed by this plagiarism, he could feel a grin tug on his lips. This was better than those stupid boxes of cheap, store-bought chocolates Itachi received. This imperfect piece of art was actually made from that girl's heart, and he knew it.
To him, this was worth way more than a hundred boxes of chocolate. With a wide, toothy grin still on his features, Deidara began to make his way back to his homeroom to gloat to his rival. "In your face, Uchiha."

This girl... is completely of your choosing... I was just... not thinking that much when writing this. Sorry...
