SUMMARY: Enter the dark world of the House Of Night, a world much like our own, except here vampires have always existed. 16 year old Yuuki Kuran has just been Marked as a fledgling vampire and joins the House of Night, a school where she will train to become an adult vampire. That is, is she live through her Change. (And not all that are Marked do). It sucks to begin a new life away from her old friends, and on top of that, Yuuki is no average fledgling. She has been chosen special by the vampire Goddess, Minx. Yuuki discovers she's got amazing powers, or affinities but along with the power comes bloodlust and an ability to imprint with her ex-boyfriend. To add to her stress, she is not the only fledgling with special powers; When she discovers the leader of the DArk Daughters, the school's most elite group is misusing her Goddess-given gift, Yuuki must look deep within herself to find her courage to do what is right-with some help of her new vampire friends.
