At the Smithers house, Edna is trying to get Ralph to say his first word.
Edna; come on Ralph you can do it.
Ralph just stood there.
Edna; [sigh] hey Smither, did Ralph say anything to you yet?
Smither; well not really.
Edna; well he gotta learn how a talk now.
Smither; you can't rush the baby.
Edna; hmmm.
Smither; I got an idea, give him a dictionary so he can learn one word.
Edna; what, were teaching Ralph how a speak, not learn.
Smither; that the only way.
Edna; [sigh] alright, here you go Ralph, find a word for you to say.
Ralph took the book and began searching for the word to say. It took him ten minute of finding it. Soon he found a word he could say.
Ralph; Solar System.
Edna; what did you say?
Ralph; Solar System.
Edna; [gasp] Smither did you hear that, he said Solar System.
Smither; actually that would be two word, but Solar is one.
Edna; can you say something else?
Ralph; proton.
Edna; proton, that good.
Smither; try more word.
Ralph; nudity, candy, perspective, abortion, depression, Jesus, hungry, yellow, bath, aggressive, biology, psycho, pony, pant, and chocolate.
Edna; wow, our son is speaking, good job.
Smither; I think we should celebrate.
Edna; how about some pizza?
Smither; alright, I'll go buy some.
So Smither went to buy pizza after Ralph said his first word.
