A/N: This is written to celebrate Alberto Falcone coming to into the Nolanverse in Batman: Dark Knight Rises. I love this character. For those of you who don't know Alberto Falcone is the son of Carmine falcone in The Long Halloween and Dark Victory. I hope that Nolan doesn't take a leaf out of The comics and kill him off. *gives Nolan puppy eyes*

He was back.
He had been away for so long but now he was back.
He took a puff on his cigarette as he stared out the window of the plane.
Gotham looked beautiful from up here.
He knew it was an Illiousion though, he had grown up seeing part of the more facets of it, After all his father WAS the head crime boss of the city.
Was being the key word.
So despite his father's attempts to keep things from him Alberto knew more about the underworld then half of the Falcone 'family' did.
He had been sent away for college, Had almost been cut off from this city and his family.
But he had been keeping up with it through the news.
He knew about the new people in the city.
The scarecrow who used drugs to cause mass panic. He was also the man who had made his father insane.
The Joker who had brought the city to it's knees with a few bullets, a couple of news tapes and some bombs.
More were coming out of the woodwork.
6 months ago a neuroscientist had gone mad and started using mind control to brainwash people, starting with the secretary who worked for him.
1 week after that people started showing up frozen in blocks of ice and it took nearly two weeks before a scientist was caught.
3 weeks after that a man in a questioned marked covered suit had kidnapped a local business man and put him in a death trap, leaving only riddles as a trail to find him.
2 months after that a string of murders had flared up among suspect mobsters who doubled as club owners, suspicions were cast on Oswald Cobblepot, a local business man and an old associate of his father who had since gone legit, but nothing was ever brought to court.
A month and a half after that business tycoons that specialized in things like lumber and construction started showing up poisoned with rare poisons that had seemed to be incurable.
5 weeks after that Joker escaped from Arkham that a young woman named Harleen quinzel who had been acting as his doctor had been helping him escape
And Just 1 month before he had left college with is diploma he had heard rumors about a new boss in Gotham. A smooth operator , it was said. He had pulled a ton of jobs and hadn't left a trace. They said his name was Scareface
Alberto had kept up with all of this, never letting his father know. His father didn't know a lot of things. He didn't know that Alberto had been keeping up with studying marital arts here as well as learning how to shoot.
His father was insane. That meant someone had to take over. He wanted to take over. Oh yes he was the youngest of the three children but Mario had fled overseas and never talked to the family anymore and Sofia had been sent to prison because she had betrayed the family by having an affair with someone in Maroni's gang. Alberto had suspicions she might have even had the affair with Maroni himself.
He settled himself into the seat of the plane and watched the in-flight movie.
But he was really planning. How to make his entrance back into Gotham. He knew it would be difficult
But he also knew he was going to do it, he had been waiting most of his life for this moment after all.
