Because my big brother akselvee over on dA drew me a piter to make me feel better when I was going through crap through the end of march. So, this is for big brother~ [And pardon any mistakes because I've never played AC1 before. I tried on the computer, but it sucked with the lagging, and I gave up.]
Disclaimer: I don't own Ass Creed. If I did, Kadar wouldn't have died~!
Kadar looked around the city, his robe's hood up, and his worry written all over his face. His brother and Altair were about to leave, and he was stuck trying to find his brother before the older A-Sayf left, even though he wasn't supposed to be up. He passed many people, rafiqs, dais and women alike. Nearing the stables, he found his brother standing with his arms crossed, no doubt trying to decide which horse would be best for the mission, while Altair was already strapping his belongings on another. He walked up behind his brother, and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Big brother?" He asked, worried. Malik turned his head and looked at his baby brother, face neutral.
"You're supposed to be in bed, Kadar. You're ill." The elder A-Sayf said. Kadar looked down briefly before looking up.
"You're going to be okay, aren't you?" The novice asked. Malik frowned and nodded.
"Yes. Altair and I are going to be fine. It's that dangerous of a mission."
"Promise?" Kadar asked. It might have been his fever talking, but he didn't want his brother to leave him alone. Malik turned to face his younger brother completely, and pulled him into a hug. Kadar reached up weakly, his hands weakly clinging to his brother's robes. It was the silent promise ritual that they went through every time Malik was assigned a mission. He whimpered, his eyes watering. Yes, his fever was definitely taking hold of him.
"Malik, are you read- oh... Isn't he supposed to be in bed?" Altair's voice reached Kadar's ears as the boy remained in his brother's embrace.
"Strap my things to the mare's. I'm taking Kadar back to bed." Malik told the younger assassin. Kadar didn't hear a reply, or see one, as Malik helped him back to their room. Kadar laid down on his bed, curling up under the light blanket. He felt his brother kiss his temple.
"I'll be back by tomorrow evening. I love you little brother..." He heard his older brother promise. He opened his eyes to find his brother standing up and walking out of the room. He whimpered.
"I love you big brother..."
