Mimi could barely hang onto the little bit of life left in her. His eyes were the only thing that was holding her there. She heard his voice gradually drifting away. Mimi could barely make out what he was even saying to her, but she heard the words she wanted to hear. He loved her, which she knew he did, it just felt so nice to finally hear it coming from his mouth.

Mimi could barely hang on at this point as she felt and saw the darkness creeping in on her. It finally enveloped her and the last thing she saw were Roger's intense blue eyes staring down at her, tears pooling, making his eyes seem like an endless ocean on a stormy day.

There was a warm light as soon as she regained some sense. Scared, she ran towards it and she began to feel warmer and warmer. A huge difference to what happened when she was lying down on the sidewalk in the park.

She got closer and closer. She saw a figure silhouetted in the light. As soon as she was close, enough to distinguish who it was, she threw her arms around her. Angel was standing there, a white light illuminated around her. She was dressed how she had been when they were at the protest, and her fingernails still painted a vibrant metallic blue.

Mimi pulled back with tears flowing from her eyes and looked up at Angel. She had a smile on her face as she reached up and whipped Mimi's tears from her face.

"Turn around girlfriend, and listen to that boy's song." She chided.

With one last hug and a kiss on the cheek, she sprinted back into the darkness. She searched for where she should have come from and then all of a sudden, felt herself jerking back into her own body.

Sputtering and coughing she sat up and once again looked into those blue eyes, now the color of the ocean after a storm.

Really short one-shot I told you. Just watched RENT and I was like bawling my eyes out. Oh man good movie. Review please. It would be kind of nice.
