harry and ginny are now dating! ginny is at her happiest because for the past 5 years she has had a crush on harry. she knows that thi relation won't last long, due to the fact that the dark lord is rising. regardless she is happy. she and harry were now spending countless hours in the courtyard just talking. during those time, it was as if they were the only two people in the world.

they were planning to go to hogsmede together on an official date. they were going to go to a cute resturaunt. they weren't goingto walk together to the resturaunt, for ginny said she didn't want to look tacky, harry was confused, but went along with it. so the day of the date had come. ginny was in the dormetory getting ready. hermione was helping with her hair. ginny wanted to look stunning for the date, so she went through the hassle of putting on make-up. when she finished getting ready she waited a little while to make sure harry wasn't in the common room. when hermione said harry had left, they walked to hogesmede together.

hermione said she had to go meet ron at the candy shop, and she left. ginny walked the streets, slowly making her way to the resturaunt. tehn something caught her eye. it was harry! he was with another girl, to make it worse it was cho, his ex. ginny didn't know what to do. harry was kissing another girl! she decided not to confront him at the moment. she ran to the she got there, she was a mes. whe went to he bathroom to fix her hair. she was so upset. she went to the table and waited for harry.

harry came soon enough, he had a wild look in his eye. his hair was more tousled then usual. only ginny could have noticed that, because only she spent time staring at something other than the scar.

"you look beautiful" he complemented her.
"thanks" she replied stifley, than cleared her throat"why don't you look at the menu, sweetie."
"i will when i'm done staring at you," normally ginny would have been touched and blushed. but under the surcomstances, she felt no warm emotion towards harry. cheap, she thought. harry was so oblivious to her coolness toward her. it was a long, tense, boring date for ginny.

ginny was deciding on a course of action. then it hit her! harry was still teaching D. would approach him there during the combat portion of class. if he denied he was cheating she would take him on in singal combat. if he told the truth, she would forgive him.

ginny was in D.A. working on her patronous, when harry anounced that it was time for combat. ginny moved through the crowd to get to harry.

"hi sweety," she started, "i might be mistaken, but did i see you kssing another girl the other day?" she recited as perfectly as an actor.
harry looked nervous.

"er... no?" he said uncertainly. she was mad now! she had been willing to forgive if he had only told the truth.
"oh ok, my nistake, hey you still owe me a rematch in combat."
"that's right!" harry said, "do you want to battle now?" ginny nodded. harry led the way to the combat area.

ginny unleashed her anger on harry. she used every curse, hex, and jinx she knew. harry was completely unprepared. he was flying into he air then sprawling on the ground over and over again. ginny was finished.

she was partly disgusted with herself but she couldn't bring herself to stop smiling. she screamed at everyone not to worry, that she hadn't used anything that would actually hurt him. she leaned over him.

"i know you cheated on me, i saw you kissing cho. i would have forgiven you if you had told the truth."

the rest of D.A. watched this exchange with confused expressions. they all were wondering what harry had done to make ginny that mad. she stood up and looked over the crowd and swept out of the room.

harry stood up and looked very confused and sak. he knew he had blown it with ginny. he had to get her back.
