Chapter One
Missin' and Angel
I
am a fallen angel,
Cast out of heaven,
Wings bursting with
flame,
As I fall through the sky.
Eyes
dark, clouded by pain,
Feather's torn in the rain,
Calling
out to the sky in vain,
Eye's dark, clouded by pain.
Blood
drips from your broken bones,
Thunder swallows your aching
groans,
Lost forgotten, helpless, alone,
Blood drips from
your broken bones.
I
am wounded,
On the outside and within,
Too many painful
memories,
Such burdens that I bare.
I
am lost,
Every path I cross is wrong,
And always has been,
I've
never known where to go.
I
am cold,
Far colder than ice,
The long years of love,
Have
evolved into hate.
I
am a lie,
The truth never coming to me,
All I've done was false
and pointless,
I am a mistake to the world.
I
am nothing, nothing but a mere soul that has been defeated,
So I
fall...fall...and I fall...till I am no more.
Every
time your lose your wings,
And can't hear your partners sing,
I'll catch before you hit the ground,
My fallen angel,
Heaven's disowned,
I'll love even when you're down,
Every
time you lose your wings.
I came across her on day lying in the hallows of the marsh. Her hair blackened curls of magic lying the lake about her. Her skin was as fair as the porcelain china in my mothers' house. She was so small like a 15year old child, with feathers thrown about her. I crossed the ground the leaves of the fall crunching under me. I reached down and tapped her shoulder. Wake Up Wake Up I said. Her eyes shot open. They pierced into my soul. She keep me there eye to eye not moving not speaking. Are you from earth? I watched her collapse again, I couldn't just leave her there so I picked her up into my arms and took her home. Not knowing her name or where she came from to me she was just a fallen angel.
