After many a moon here on I have decided to write a story. After starting the account, I've had quite a few ideas. This one here has kept to my mind for a long time, and yes people, it is a sister fic. I've decided to add a twist to it, and I'm rather hoping it's original. You'll find out the twist at the end of the chapter, or, more correctly, a prologue.

I'm going to try my best from keeping this from being a Mary-Sue, and if you people find it sounding like a Mary-Sue, let me know. Just don't say 'OMG! It's a Mary-Sue!'. Tell me what is making it sound like a Mary-Sue, and please give me tips to keep it from becoming a complete Mary-Sue.

Ideas for future chapters will be greatly appreciated as well.

Disclaimer: I don't own the Outsiders. But I do own Jen.

Prologue

Jen couldn't sleep. She tossed and turned on the hard, cold ground of the lot, denied access to her happy place.

Johnny lay near her, so she did something she been doing for the past while: Watch him sleep. Jen never really knew when it started; it just happened. She started to notice the attractive features, the sweet, shy side of him. She also noticed that when he slept, he looked calm and peaceful. It drew her to him, but she knew that he wouldn't feel the same way about her. Johnny would always love Jen in the brotherly way. Always have, and always shall.

It irritated her, made her feel lonely, but more or less, humiliate. Jen knew that she shouldn't love him in the way that she did, but she couldn't help it! She was only human after all, and the need to be loved back was burying her common sense. Anger started to grow within Jen, and it warmed her from the coldness that was filling up. The anger began to take control over her.

'Do it, just do it! Do what you've wanted to do!' Jen's mind screamed, and she listened to it.

"Johnny?" His name whispered, barely audible.

No response.

She tried again, a bit louder. "Johnny, you awake?"

He gave a low moan and rolled onto his back.

A strange excitement began to fill her. If she kissed him lightly enough, maybe he wouldn't notice!

Slowly, she leaned towards him. Her breath caught, and without a moment to think of the consequences, leaned forward and kissed him.

Slowly, Johnny's eyes began to open, and he stared into her eyes. First confusion filled his mind, and it quickly morphed into shock, horror, and disturbance. He quickly yanked himself out of Jen's reach and stared at her, his eyes wide and breathing ragged. His mind filling with questions and disturbing images. His eyes raced over Jen, seeing the similarities between the two of them.

Dark skin that was so much like his, jet-black hair that resembled his own, facial features cut to feminine dimensions that reflected his own. And most of all, the same large, black eyes that were exactly like his. Horrified, he stared at his sister.

TBC. . .

Yup. And that's the twist people. The next couple of chapters will be the events that lead up to this night, and after that, it's going to be a continuation of this.

And it may appear to be rushed and confusing, so I'm sorry. I'll edit this when I have the chance. And sorry that it's short. Next chapters will hopefully be longer.
