Hey! So some of you may know me from wattpad (I write a LOT on there.) but I decided to come to Fanfic since it has better writing technique. So incase you're wondering, this isn't my first time writing- I've been writing for about 7-8 years starting December. :) Hope you all have a good day! Also, this is set before Barry has powers, and Kara has been Supergirl for several months..

Disclaimer: I own nothing...

-Another Step-

Barry sighed as he plopped into his seat on the train, his destination was for National city. Several cases from around 15 years ago had popped up and he took this chance to drag his way into his mom's case. The case wasn't reopened, but that day police had filed reports of many other dots of evidence so he took a shot. He apparently had to report to a media dominator, she was apparently arrogant and stubborn which sorta turned him off- but if this would help him then he would not waste the oppertunity.

The train came to a ear-piercing stop as groans spread like wildfire, Barry rubbed the back of his head as he headed out of the train. He made his way through the ever-growing crowd of people and dashed into the building that would forever change his life. He quickly made his way around desks and into the elevators and lazily paced while the elevator shot up to the 11th floor. A buzz radiated the room around him and the doors opened, he walked into the room full of people who's eyes quickly fell on his.

His face turned a violet red out of embarrassment and looked down as he headed into Cat Grant's office. He waved at the queen who seemed to roll her eyes at another 'social eagle'. Barry looked down to see a blonde women dressed in unusual clothes, and another short man who had a buzz cut and faded goatee sitting in front of Cat Grant. They both smiled at him and waved akwardly, making him even more vexatious than he already was. He evened his posture out and made sure to keep his charming smile on his young face, knowing it was what kept him on good terms with women... not that he was a player.

"Hello Mr... Allen?" Cat Grant spoke with obvious finicky in her voice, she made eye contact for a moment before returning to her induced work- she was amazing at persuading popular figures to do something within her needs.

"Hi! Yeah umm I came here for a case.. and was told to come to you..and my name is Barry.." Oh no.. his social akwardness seemed to immediantly pull on his mindset as he spoke in a slow and steady voice. Cat Grant seemed to pick up at this and smirked.

"Ok Bart, I understand and was warned ahead of time. I would love to help you but the rest of my week is gonna supposedly be invested into writing bullshit articles for apparent affairs that have popped up, clearly my buisness isn't the only one people like to take a chance on. Anyway, i'm gonna have you work with these two." Cat gestured to the two in front of her who grinned at Barry. "This little one is Winn and the other one is Kiera..."

The man supposedly named 'Winn' stood up, immediantly shaking Barry's hand. He was short like Cat had intended, he wasn't bulky or lean but seemed healthy. The other woman, 'Kara' actually seemed to be in better shape- her figure actually causing a but of lustful emotions to rise up in Barry, but he threw that off immediantly.

"Nice to meet you Barry, I guess we'll be stuck together for the next few months so we might have to get used to eachother." Winn spoke, causing a smile to break out on Barry's face. Atleast he wasn't the only akward person out of the three. Although the blonde seemed to be just as shy as the two men.

"Yeah, so yall want to go down to that coffee place, it's by my apartment and we can get to know Barry a little better." Kara suggested with a high stance, seeming to want to impress the newcomer. Winn nodded while Barry just shrugged and the trio went off.

-A Hero's Love-

A hooded figure, with a lean build and high head, crossed the street of the famous Cat Grant. He passed the building and then turned, before going into a coffee shop that held the person he wanted to meet. Any person who had come by him was thrown to the ground with ease... his powers did come in handy. He moved over to a table that had three people sitting at it who were chatting, smiling, and laughing which sorta annoyed him.

"Hello..." The three turned to look at him as he spoke, he then blasted the table across the room. He easily could access to immortal energy and had telekinisis along with enhanced senses. Two of the three people he knocked over were breathing hard and were bleeding\ beaten up. While the blonde didn't seemed to be affected at all, she stood up and stared him dead in the eye- seeming ready to fight.

The other man, a tall, well-built, and brown haired also stood up- but he seemed to be in a limping state. "Stay back, Barry." Kara ordered, not wanting him to get hurt. Barry stood back, but didn't back down as he also stared the hooded figure down. The woman charged at him, tackling the man and throwing him across the whole building. He crashed into a table and sent a shockwave blasting through the bar before he fell over the table. He quickly jumped up, clearly pissed, and tossed anything in the area at Kara who deflected them with ease. They both flew at eachother and accidently collided, causing a enormous blast to radiate the shop and some of the street outside. The fight started to expand to the street and a citizen's evacuation was ordered as blasts and blows started to cause chaos and havoc.

Kara moved back as the figure attempted to hit her and then flew back at him, hitting him across the street and into a car which exploded and sent debris heading in every direction. He sneered as he grabbed a familiar green rock from his pocket and ran before slamming it into Supergirl who spat blood. She felt weak and miserable and nearly vomited at how nauseous she was. The man was about to destroy Supergirl when a fist collided with his jaw, sending him toppling over. It wasn't a powerful hit, but strong enough to distraught him. He looked up to see the man he saw in the shop, Barry was flexing his hand that seemed broken.

"You little bitch!" He yelled as he charged at Barry who seemed ready to take a hit, but Kara came into view and grabbed him before tossing the hooded figure onto the grouns, knocking him out. Supergirl turned and looked at Barry with an apologetic look her eyes. She had already taken Winn to the DEO so he could get patched up and planned to do the same with Barry. She grabbed him and wrapped his arms around her before taking off towards the DEO, ignoring his screams.

-A Hero's Love-

Supergirl sat in the medical area of the DEO, watching over Winn and Barry. She was next to Barry who had gripped her hand when his broken hand had sent pain. She wouldn't break the grip though, knowing what it was like to be helpless against pain. He knew she was Supergirl which didn't seem to bother her at all. Alex came in and smiled at Kara, who grinned at her sister.

"Hey Kara, so who is that man you got there?" She asked in a smirk on her face, causing Kara to blush and look away from her. "Is he a friend?"

"Yeah... he saved me from getting obliterated from that hooded asshole, but he's human so his hand got obliterated in the process." Kara said with a laugh, causing Alex to grin at her sister.

Alex sighed as her phone started to ring, making Kara blink. "Also, don't get to caught up in him, remember that he came here for a case that is probably personal for him so make sure to help him with that."

Kara nodded and looked down at Barry, she would ask him about the case when he woke up. Kara sighed and let her grip on his hands go, she promised herself that she wouldn't get to attachted- considering the fact that they would practically be together for the next few months.

Barry groaned and sat up from his comftorable placement on the bed, hos hand immediantly grabbing Kara's. He seemed to calm a little when he saw her face.

"I saved your butt today didn't I, Supergirl?" He teased Kara- who frowned at him and lightly punched him in the shoulder with as possible.

"You two are so cute, like one of those teen couples from the disney movies." Winn joked, causing Kara's face to turn a serious shade of red. She chuckled slightly and looked at Barry who also seemed to be red and laughing. "See? You agree."

Kara glared at him while Barry scratched the back of his head, the three were so busy laughing and joking that they didn't notice J'onn and Alex walk into the room. "Guys we need to talk, there is apparently two new agents joining us who would really like to meet Barry. " Alex adressed the three

"Who?" Kara asked, standing in front of Barry as if he was hers to protect- Alex grinned at how Alien her sister was. Barry stared at Alex, also interested in who these mystery people were too.

"Caitlin Snow and Cisco Ramone."
