Now for another poem about a Pokemon. This time it's Feebas! I love Milotic, so I decided to write about it pre-evolution, and why it's so hard to find. Hope you like it.

Tangles of water plants

Growing in the riverbed

Thundering, cascading curtains of water

Frothing bubbles below the waterfalls

Amidst all these, I hide.

I hide my face, because my face is hated by the world.

When humans see me, they scream in disgust

At my horrible face.

They despise me, they hate my looks

And I hate myself for the monstrous face I have.

But most of all, I hate the terror

That looking at me brings to them.

That is why I hide.

Away from the sun, away from the world,

In my own secret lightless world, deep in the darkness

So that I don't have to see them,

And they don't have to see me.

Yet, still, I dream.

I dream of being beautiful,

Dream of being sought after,

Not tossed aside by those fishermen.

Sometimes, the sparkling lights from above

Lure me from the depths, just out of my reach.

After so long in the dark,

The offer of seeing the upper world is tempting.

Then I remind myself:

No one wants me up there!

I'll just be chased away, hated, run from…

So, heart sinking, I turn yet again to the riverbed,

And all hope vanishes.

So I continue to hide deep below the surface,

Away from their eyes,

And I continue to dream a dream

That I know will never come true.

A trainer tosses his line into the river,

Frustration creasing his sweaty brow

As he awaits the bite of a prized Feebas.

Come on out, won't you? I really want a Milotic!

And the fish continues to hide itself,

Not knowing that it is hiding from the very thing

That will grant its greatest wish.
