Coffee

Robin loved visiting Barney's office, she often made lunch dates with him. She told everyone that it was because she liked to see him during the day, which she did, but she had a secret love.

As soon as she walked through the expensive oak door, the tantalizing smell hit her and she inhaled. Coffee.

"Hey" Barney said "Ready to go?" as he moved closer she noticed the smell on his breath and he was holding a Styrofoam cup of coffee, the smell never failed to excite her.

"Sure" she wrapped an arm around his waist, her fingers caressing his black silk shirt. He inhaled sharply as her fingers dipped below the waistband of his slacks.

The smell of coffee mingled on his breath with the faint scent of the expensive cigar he probably sneaked on the roof of the office after a meeting some time ago, she could smell it on his breath as he leaned in toward her for a kiss.

Their lips met and she deepened the kiss, sighing as the bitter taste hit her tongue.

He never told her that he knew about the secret turn on that she had, that he had bought the black coffee minutes before she entered, he intentionally decided to forgo the mints he always carried because he knew that the scent on his breath would tease her beyond belief.

It did. They never made their lunch date that day.

As she left, appropriately dishevelled and he rearranged his mahogany desk, a thought crossed his mind. Starbucks must be hell for Robin.
