The Primal Lure of Firelight

Tall, Dark and Blushing...
My best friend Hotaru Imai and I – Sakura Mikan had just moved into Building D in a large building complex which was just a few minutes away from out college campus. Soon afterward, we gave a 'ladies only' lingerie-sales party for all our girlfriends who were also going to attend the same college.
The party was well under way when there was a knock at the door. I went over to open it, still clad in only my revealing nightwear. It was a young man that stood on the other side of the door and he got a perfect glimpse of the attractive young women modeling bikinis and nightgowns and his eyes widened.
"A friend told me there might be a rental in Building G", he stammered. I told him he had the wrong address as well as the wrong building. He was really handsome and well built to the point that I almost drooled but I was so embarrassed at that moment I could barely think. Though somehow I managed to wonder which one of us was more embarrassed then the other; him, just standing there gawking at the practically naked women in the apartment or me, frozen with my now blushing skin exposed for the whole world to see.
Thankfully, by some miraculous force, I was able to snap out of my reverie after the uncomfortable silence and gave him directions to the place he was supposedly looking for before I just about unintentionally slammed the door in his face so quickly he couldn't even find the time to say his thanks.
The atmosphere in the apartment was so incredibly tense after that unexpected scene took place and it was quiet enough to hear a pin drop but fortunately it only lasted a few seconds as the girls abruptly broke into a giggle fit, jumping up and down and all around the living room couch, holding hands and gossiping about how drop dead gorgeous the guy was.
A minute later I heard a tentative knock on the door and I went to open the door once again and standing there with an obvious blush across his boyish face was the same young man from just now saying "Are there any vacancies in 'this' building?".

Please note that this is just a prologue slash preface kind of thingy because I don't know how readers will receive it. If it's not too unappealing to readers then please drop a review and tell me if I should continue. I do have a plot in mind. Let's just say that it includes a lot of male rivalry. (By the way, see if you can guess who the guy was)
This is my first time writing a Gakuen Alice fanfiction so please… go easy on me…
