A Mermaid Melody: The Next Generation fanfiction! This is the next chapter in the Mermaid Melody series that I've had the pleasure of creating it myself!

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the Mermaid Melody series so please don't judge if I change up a few things! I'm also adding on a new Mermaid Princess! She's my OC so please no judging! Plus adding one mermaid to it, which is my OC's friend/enemy who she doesn't get along with too well, because of their loving for Umehito Kiro, Kaminari's love interest. Also I've brought in another of the Panthalassa Clan, which is also my OC's love interest! I'm also bringing back everyone from the past seasons, making it a challenge for the Princesses to battle the Sea and Winged Monsters! Wish them good luck as their journey begins at the beginning of season 1!

While walking along the sand of my ocean, I knew my choice was clear. I shall live in the human world until I find the remaining Mermaid Princesses, or until I summon Aqua Regina-sama. My name is Kaminari Arashi, meaning Thunder Storm, which is ironic because I was born in the sea world during a human-world thunder storm. I am the white mermaid princess of the South Indian Sea. My pearl voice is known as, "Shiro Pearl Voice", which, if you didn't know, Shiro in Japanese is white. All of my 13 years of life, up until now, I've lived in the sea, ruling my country of the South Indian Sea, but the night when I left, Gaito had came back, and took over my country. My friends back in my country thought that he had captured me, when he wasn't even close. It was at my Adult-Mermaid ceremony when he attacked. The mermaids who were getting me ready made me fled from the palace when he came in, so nothing would happen to me. I immediately swam about 30 miles to the surface, without looking back at my demolished country. I was in tears. As I swam to the shore, I changed into my human form, not my pearl voice form, and I walked on the sand until I could find any sort of home. There was a pink hotel that was close enough, though I stopped when I saw it. Here I am now, looking at the hotel. It was a big hotel in fact. I could even see a girl sweeping the porch and humming. And then, I thought of something. That must be Lucia! I recognize her pendant! It's been so long since I've seen her last. I yelled out, "Lucia? Is that you?", and instantly got the reply, "Kaminari? Oh my god! I can't believe it!" Lucia ran up to me, and then hugged me. Obviously there was Hippo on the porch watching us. I waved slightly at the small, blue penguin and went back to hugging Lucia. "Oh my god! I haven't seen you in so long! I missed you, Lucia!" "I've missed you too, Kami!" As much as I'd hate to admit, I hated being called "Kami", though when Lucia said it; it brought a smile to my lips. She instantly returned the smile and led me into the Pink Piari where Hanon and Rina, the aquamarine and green mermaid princesses, where. It's been awhile since I've seen them. Truth be told, I can't recall WHEN our last meeting was, let alone the last time we battled against Gaito and Michel, yet it was the battle with Michel when I last recall seeing them. It was so hard to battle both, but we actually pulled it off. Noel and Caren walked down the stairs with Seira following, yet she was running. Coco, Nikora, Taki-san, and Hippo were already in the kitchen making pastries for my arrival. Surprisingly, my old friend/foe was here. She was sitting on one of the couches in the loft when I first walked in. I only smiled at her, though, because of what happened about a year ago.

FLASH BACK: *at Gaito's palace in his dungeon about a year or two ago*

Melody(my friend/enemy): You traitor! How could you save them and not me back there?

Kaminari: I tried my hardest to save all of you, but they have the power to destroy him, while we share the same amount of power that can only destroy the water demons!

Melody: I don't care! You grabbed onto me, got in front of them, and risked our lives! I'm more important than them, so you practically risked both of our lives! It's your fault!

Kaminari: It's not just my fault! In fact it's none of our fault! We saved them! Isn't that all that matters?

Melody: No! It's not!

Kaminari: well we saved them from where we are now. So I actually feel good about this, even being stuck in a dungeon. *pushes on bars making them a little lose*

Melody: well, I don't. We're in a dungeon for crying out loud!

Kaminari: So? We saved lives. We were in idol form at the moment, so we only turned into mermaids. We took the bullet for them!

Melody: whatever. As long as we survive and get out of this prison, the water demons won't win against us. More importantly, I don't belong here at all. I'm way too pretty for jail!

Kaminari: This isn't jail! This is just a holding cell for us. By the way, I got the door open. *swims out of cell*

Melody: whatever. *swims out*
