Until Death Do Us Part - Part One

        "I... love you.." He whispered. Those words, it seems like so long I have longed to hear those words from his mouth, being said to me. I smile softly, and shift a little underneath him. From where I lay, in the four poster king bed, he looks like a Greek God. "Are you all right my love?" he speaks again, softly as he gazes down at me with soft nile blue eyes as he runs a slender hand through my short ginger brown hair, which right now is horribly out of place. Another word I have always longed to hear from him. "I am more than all right.." I respond, softly in return.
        It has finally happened, Zechs Merquise, and I, Treize Khushrenada have come out to each other with our feelings. I was a bit shocked to say the least, and possibly so was Zechs. Those feelings I have hidden for so long inside me were now out in the open, and to my surprise, they were mutual with the one I so deeply longed for.
        "Treize, my love, I have something for you." He speaks again, this time with a small grin. "Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back," and with that Zechs bounds off across the room. I wait for a bit, just watching him. He seems to be digging through something, possibly in search of what he has for me? My anxiety grows when he moves his search to another place. "Can't you just tell me my love?" I ask, with an impatient tone. Zechs turns to look at me for a moment, those nile blue eyes stern for once. "Just wait my love, I shall have it in a moment." And with those words he goes about searching again.
        A few moments later, Zechs returns to the bed. He appears to be holding something behind his back, and he has a grin on his lovely face. "Close your eyes, and hold out your left hand," he commands, softly. I do as he tells me, my anxiety reaching a peak at this time. I feel him take my left hand in his, and then I feel a piece of something cold slip around one of my fingers. "All right, open them now," he says, and as I open my eyes, he has my left hand held up to eye level. I gasp, when I see, a silver band around my left ring finger. "What.." I start to speak, but Zechs' hand comes up over my lips. "Treize, I know this is sudden, but please, hear me out. I love you more than life itself, and I want to be with you for all time. So, will you marry me?" he speaks softly, and yet very seriously. For a moment, I am stunned. I can hardly believe this is happening to me. Finally, I snap out of the little daze, and with tears of joy in my eyes, "Yes Zechs, my love, I will.." I manage to respond before throwing my arms around his neck, and hugging him tightly.
