A cool breeze passed through C.C.'s Spa and Resort as a young girl sat at the receptionist desk.
In an absence of customers, Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano began to draw on her notepad. She transferred her wildest daydreams to the paper using a black ballpoint pen.
The young girl drew her mother and father together, her home back in Puerto Rico, her childhood dog Oliver; all the things she knew she couldn't have.
But then she started to think realistically. What was a fantasy of hers that could possibly come true?
And then she remembered her dream from the night before. She had dreamed of standing together with her sister, Hylla, both wielding swords and looking like leaders. That was what she wanted; to be a leader. And that was what she would try her hardest to be.
Deciding to keep this wonderful image with her forever, Reyna combined her dream and her pen to create an inspiration.
That was all she had, right?
