WEEK 1: DAY 1

"Alright, alright! Everybody calm down!" Commanded the USG Ishimora's head of security, Larry Douglas. The loading bay was full of nervous, curious scientists and engineers. The men and woman have never seen a such an artifact as the one they surrounded. The only one who had ever seen the artifact before was Larry himself, but only in a nearly ancient picture. And he still had no clue of its power.

"I'm afraid I will have to escort all of you to the decontamination chambers. Let's move people!" Larry ordered, pointing to a machine used to disintegrate useless rocks brought aboard the ship. As the captain finished his order tons of guards appeared and covered the exits. One woman approached Larry, asking, "What? Do you mean to exit through that door?" The woman pointed at a pair of steel doors covered by guards. Larry, in response, pulled a plasma pistol out of his uniform pocket, and shot the woman in-between the eyes. He grabbed her body before it could fall, and pulled it past him and into the rock decomposer. The smell of burning flesh steamed out of the fiery pit, causing many people to gag. Those who didn't gag gasped in shock and terror.

A hand full of men rushed the armed guards to try to escape, but were smacked down with a burst of accurately shot plasma lasers. The room filled with screams, and a few shots from Larry's plasma pistol quickly got everyone quite. One of the guards stirred uncomfortably, and turned to his fellow guard yelling "Screw This!" The guard shot his partner and ran out of the room. All the guards moved in pursuit until Larry stopped them saying, "Let him go. We'll deal with him later. We have a more important job to finish first. Each of you pick two people you want to live and line them up in front of the Marker. Begin."

The guard who went rogue was called Blake Parker. He ran down the hall until he heard blood curdling screams come from the loading bay. He hated himself for doing so, but he turned back and ran back to the room. He couldn't let all those people be "taken care of," as Larry described it.

As Blake got back to the room he saw the guards retreating and shooting at dark, bloody figures. The monsters took each shot ,uneffected. The beasts impaled whomever got close to them with spike-tipped arms that protruded from their shoulder blades. The creatures were humanoid, they walked on two legs; they had two humanlike arms (not including the arms with spikes for hands); and they even had on some kind of clothing.

Blake then realized the monsters were once human, but they had drastically been transformed into blood thirsty beings. Blake looked at the big, spiraling stone that Larry called The Marker. Suddenly, Blake's vision was flooded with strange symbols, and heard a voice saying, "Make Us Whole!"
