Harry Potter was grieving, he wanted nothing more than to just curl up into a ball and die. His parents were dead, his godfather was dead. People just kept dying, and it was taking its toll on him. When you're depressed, letting the light in, is not easy. That light brought hope, but Harry did not want hope, Harry did not want anything at all, but to be with his family.

It had been a few weeks since Sirius had died at the ministry and as usual, Harry was dropped off back at the Dursleys. As usual, most of the wizarding world did not communicate with him but instead let him fester in his misery. The only person who was being moderately nice to him was Dudley. For some strange reason, Dudley seemed to like Harry now. Maybe it was because Harry saved his life, or maybe he just grew up.

The problem for Harry was that no one understood, how could they understand, they have not had to go through what Harry has gone through. While Harry pondered over his life on a midnight walk under his invisibility cloak through Surrey, taking in all the surroundings, he noticed an owl swooping down towards him. This was unusual to him, if he gets any letters, then they usually go to his home, but then when did he ever get letters.

The owl knew Harry was there, but could not see Harry due to the invisibility cloak. Harry decided to take the cloak off and greet the owl, and take whatever letter it had held. He noticed that this letter was very ornate and had the Gringotts seal on the back. At this point, Harry was incredibly perplexed as he had never received a letter from Gringotts in his life.

Harry slowly turned over the letter and broke the seal, opening the letter with great caution. Inside it read.

"Dear Mr. Potter,

Here at Gringotts we are once again trying to contact you, for you to come into the bank and claim your inheritance. We have been trying to get in touch with you since you turned 13, however since those communication methods have failed, we have resorted to an owl, who will only come to you when you are under no wards at all, to prevent tampering of your mail.

We are sincerely sorry to hear about your Godfathers death, he had a will filed with us here at the bank, when you come in to claim your inheritance, we will be happy to have it read to you, as you are the main beneficiary.

No matter the time or day, you can always come to Gringotts, if you touch your wand to the parchment, and say Gringotts London, you will be transported to our bank's waiting room, where a goblin will be with you shortly.

Harry was trying to digest this new information, the information that they had been trying to get in touch with him, even though, he had heard nothing from them. While he did not trust the goblins implicitly, he thought this seemed too elaborate to be unreal. Therefore, he decided to put his trust in the paper before him, at this moment, he would greet death with an open arm, therefore if a death eater was waiting on the side, he had nothing to lose.

He got out his wand and tapped it on the paper and said those two words "Gringotts London". In an instant, he was taken from his spot in Surrey to a lounge, a lounge that looked very professional. He recognized some of the markings on the wall to be in a foreign language. At that moment he knew he was at Gringotts.

Five minutes later, a goblin walks into the room and says;

"Greetings Mr. Potter, we have been awaiting you for some time. Your 16th birthday is almost upon us which would mark 3 years since we have tried to get in touch with you. I am Ragnok, king of the goblins. This is my private waiting room, deep beneath the vaults of Gringotts.

Before we go any further, I would like you to take an inheritance test for me, this will not only prove your identity to us but allow us to see what you will be inheriting today. On this test, it will show any blocks you may have on your magic, and who cast them. Once this is done, I will be happy to read your Godfathers will to you.

All you have to do is drop some blood onto this paper, magic will do the rest"

"Greetings Ragnok, I am honored with your presence, I must admit I was a little shocked at this invitation, considering I have never received communication from the bank before. I will be happy to oblige in providing my blood for the test." Harry said as he dripped a few drops of blood onto the parchment below him

Both Ragnok and Harry, happily conversed with each other while the magic did its work on the parchment. Ragnok looked surprised at how many pages were being supplied but Harry did not know any different. Once the magic stopped writing both Ragnok and Harry looked on the pages and discovered his inheritance
