"Alright, Amy, Rory, we are going to France for various reasons and one of them is not to see Rory's grandmother...sorry Rory,"

explained the Doctor.

"However, one of the reasons is to go to an old ball that was held in 1956! Yes,

yes very exciting."

"Uh...Doctor why exactly are we going to a ball?" Rory questioned, a puzzled look on his face.

"Well Rory, that is a brilliant question. You see, the reason is very important; it is because I really want to for one, and for two it is fun to dance."

"Ah, I see...fun," Amy giggled.

"Brilliant! We are now in France 1956!" the Doctor exclaimed.

"Sooo, where is this ball you wouldn't shut up about?" Amy scoffed. Amy looked around and found herself standing in the middle of a ballroom with a great number of people staring at her, Rory, and the Doctor. All of the people were dressed in fancy clothing and looked frightened of the small blue police box that had randomly appeared in the middle of the room.

"We're here!" announced the Doctor, holding his arms out wide.

"I sorta noticed," Rory muttered, stunned.

"Alright people, LET'S DANCE!" the Doctor yelled at the top of his lungs and threw his coat and bow tie out of sight.

"Wait! I thought you liked bow ties!" Rory cried after the Doctor.

"DJ, turn it up!" the Doctor demanded.

He turned around and suddenly remembered DJs didn't exist yet. There was an awkward silence between them.

"Oh...yes of course DJs do not exist. Well, in that case put on the record and boogie!" The Doctor went over to the record player and put on a song.

"Come on Rory, you have to do your famous "hammer time dance" for everyone!"

Rory sighed and stuck his hands out in front of him, puckered his lips, and stuck out his buttocks behind him, and screamed "HAMMER TIME!"

"Genius! That my friend was awesome!" Amy snickered. Everyone in the ball turned around and stared at Rory, even the Doctor who was doing the shimmy. Rory blushed and ran out of the ballroom.

"Oh come on! It was just an old joke!" As Amy yelled this, she had realized she hurt her husband's feelings. Amy's eyes teared up and she ran out of the room calling after Rory.
