Golden Eyes

Here I sit at the well's edge
And look deep into your eyes
Which resemble the stars
Or the golden ember flies
That fly in the night
And blinking on and off their glow
Become one with stars
And add to the night's show.
You have sweetness there
As I can see
In those eyes
You look down on me.
I wish to kiss you
Or give you my heart
For we are one and the same
And of the same part.
I look at the moon
As I sit at home
And only see your eyes
…Waiting alone.
You wait for me
However obediently
And you wish not
You wish to be free.
Let you free, I can not
For I'd loose you then
And those eyes I'd miss
Forever again.
I cannot say
I don not love you
For when you see my eyes
You know that it's true.
