Chibi BB: Come on L the story's about to start.
Young L Lawliet was walking down a corridor of wammy's house when he over heared some kids talking about him.
"He's so weird." one kid said
"And he hangs out with that even weirder kid Beyond." said another.
L looked down feeling terribly upset
'Is that what everyone thought about him and his friend?' he thought
He ran the whole way to B's room, jumped into his arms, and cryed.
Beyond was stunned, and wondered what could have made L cry like this. "What's the matter Lawliet?"
"I heared some kids talking about us being weird. Why are they never nice to us?" he sobed.
Beyond knew that kids teased him, but he didn't know they teased Lawliet too.
"It's almost lights out, why dont you sleep here? We can keep each other company."
L complied and climbed under the sheets with Beyond. He laied his head down facing B, and tryed to sleep. Beyond sat up stroking L's messy black locks when an idea struck him.
'I should sing him a lullaby.' He tryed to think of a nice song he knew completely and began to sing.
"Come little children I'll take thee away into a land of enchantment.
Come little children the time's come to play here in my garden of shadows."
L opened his eyes and stared up at his friend. "Beyond what are you doing?" He asked
"Im singing you a lullaby so you can sleep, now close your eyes." L slowly closed his eyes and snuggled into the sheets as B continued.
Follow sweet children I'll show thee the way, through all the pain and the sorrows.
Weep not poor children for life is this way, murdering beauty and passion.
L then moved closer to Beyond, and B wrapped his arms around L's lithe frame making the sad boy at ease.
"Hush now dear children it must be this way, too weary of life and deceptions.
Rest now my children for soon we'll away, into the calm and the quiet.
L's breath soon slowed to a normal pace indecating that he was falling asleep. Beyond was becoming a bit tired himself.
Come little children I'll take thee away, into a land of enchantment.
Come little children the time's come to play, here in my garden of shadows.
He finished as both he, and L fell asleep to the words of a lullaby.
