Yeah I know. Most of you are probably wondering why I seem to be posting a new story every other week or whatever. The answer is simple: A lot of time mixed with a lot of ideas mixed with a good amount of boredom and enthusiasm. I've actually wanted to do this story for a while but I need to manage my other stories as well. I'm posting this because my other story Blackened Grains of Time, will end in another chapter or so, which will then give me more room to work with this one! So yeah, this is sort of a (In format) prologue because you guys know how much I love prologues!

DISCLAIMER: I do not own U.S.M or Marvel or any of that stuff.

April 9, 2015-Journal of Mira Stone, age 16

Dear Journal,

In a magical city on the edge of the world, mountains encompass the landscape and the glittering snow merges with the horizon, creating an infinite effect. This is where I live. Kun'Lun, one of the seven capitol cities of heaven. Life was good for my father and I. Mother had died almost a year ago at the hands of the Scorpion. Whispers from the private talks carry rumors that he is the brother of our king-to-be. King Daniel, also known as Iron Fist. He is handsome, but I don't think of him much. Father does not allow me to think of him, Father hates him. He believes that he is to be shunned as an outsider, and believes that Daniel sent Scorpion after Mother. That he sent Scorpion after everyone who was killed during that long year without our king. That he defeated Scorpion only to raise his popularity.

Maybe if I would befriend Daniel, perhaps I could make Father understand. No, that would be foolish to even dream of. Daniel is royalty. He is most likely busy in the outside studying for his return. And when he comes to rule over Kun'Lun, he will be busy with training, protecting, and his friends are probably important people who meditate daily and eat delicacies and are sought out by all for wise pieces of advice. Still, I would like to think of him. I would like to think of his dancing emerald eyes and his flowing golden hair. Of his muscles and his bravery and his heart-warming smile. I would like to think of those things. But I can't, for Father would never allow it. I wonder what incredibly important thing he's doing right now...

Danny's pov

"Guys! Guys! Look, it's the leaning tower of PIZZA!" Sam yelled as he showed us his lunch tray. Half the tray was taken up by two pieces of pizza leaning against each other and also sagging to one side. The points were faced upward.

"How old are you Sam? Like, four?" Ava rolled her eyes.

"That's our bucket-head! His jokes are almost as cheesy as his feet!" Peter sniggered.

"Real punny Webs," Luke smiled. I chuckled.

"Hey, this is art!" Sam gasped dramatically.

"He's a regular Michelangelo," Ava sighed. We all stared at her.

"What does that have to do with art?" Peter asked.

"Michelangelo? Like the ninja turtle?" Luke asked, mirroring my own thoughts.

"She called me a turtle?" Sam was more confused than offended.

"No! Michelangelo like the famous Italian renaissance artist!" Ava stared at us with an incredulous look. It took a moment. Then it clicked for all of us.

"Oooooh!" We all said.

"Why didn't you say so?" I teased. It was amusing to watch Ava's reactions to our less-than-sufficient knowledge of history, or Peter's reactions to our primitive-by his standards-knowledge of science.

"I give up!" Ava threw her hands up in defeat, but the corners of her mouth were twitching upward.

"Hello kids," It never failed to impress me how quickly Agent Principal Coulson could move.

"What are we going to do this time? Study hall? Quiet reading? Kicking Doctor Doom's Latvian butt?" Sam asked casually. Luke elbowed him.

"Actually Danny is due to Kun'Lun for a...checkup?" Coulson cocked an eyebrow at me. I nodded. I was supposed to be there to meet people and ensure the trust of my kingdom. I was looking forward to even making new friends, for when I settled there permanently. Coulson started walking toward the detention room, no doubt to have S.H.I.E.L.D fly me.

"Principal Coulson, with your permission, I have already enlisted assistance from one of the company jets," I said. He simply nodded his ok and walked off.

"Another competition?" Peter asked.

"No, just a meet and greet."

"Ah, maybe I should get in line for a signed Iron Fist T-shirt," Peter gave me a crooked grin. I smiled. Then I left my friends to talk and walked outside the school building. Outside, was a large plane. Stealing one last glance at the school, I climbed inside and listened to the muffled roar of the engine for the next few hours.

Yeah, so I really hope you guys enjoyed. This will be my first pairing fic, DannyxOc. Also, just so I know whether people actually like my story chapters and stuff, please review. It doesn't need to be a real review. Just say "hi" or leave a smiley face or something. Of course, if you can think of a review, then do that. But yeah that would really help me out, and make my day, so please! This story will probably not be updated until Blackened Grains is over with in around a week or two. Anyway...

Wolf out...
